35mm tickets for Werwulf are officially live. 🐺 We are one of only 17 theaters in the country getting a physical celluloid print of Robert Eggers' new film for Christmas week. Hit the link in our bio to grab your tickets right now!

i really want people to absorb that -∀(x) is ∃(x). once you realize that "not all men" boils down to "there exists one," it's kind of embarrassing to keep saying

Look, I'm always going to take it literally when someone posts about their partner watching corn. E'rbody got their thing.

fwiw after chatting with a bunch of folks i trust, here's the move for DeKalb voters: amendment 1: NO amendment 2: NO amendment 3: YES special election: YES if you've got a strong argument to the contrary, i'd love to hear it. but i'm 99% at this point based on feedback from progressive ATLiens.

Campus Police is a little bit like Human Resources - they front that they're helping, but they mostly protect the institution.

Come on, y'all - help someone out of medical debt.

Y'all ready to do some good this week? How I'd Fix Atlanta has once again partnered with Undue Medical Debt to help out a bunch of our neighbors. As always, we need your help. Please give what you can and tell everyone you know. unduemedicaldebt.org/campaign/whe...

I continue to assert that the US national anthem sets the tone for us to be combative. If the anthem was America The Beautiful or This Land Is Your Land, perhaps it would help bolster those ideals.

Apparently, in these Last Of Days, I am becoming a fancy-fragrance wearer via "discovery sets" - been getting samplers of $400-a-bottle scents as a little treat. Gonna smell rich during the end of the world as we know it.

Is the official pronunciation of nuclear “newk-ya-lehr“ now? Because it still grates. New-klee-urr 4 everrr

Well, we're pulled over at a rest area off I80 in Nebraska. Busted bearing and hub in the rear trailer axle, hoping the roadside assistance isn't a scam. The weather is nice, at least. Met a fellow burner (Camp Beaverton!) who stopped to check on us. Just another eventful trip to the desert.

I really hate it when depression manifests as rage paired with wanting to cry and being simply incapable of crying.

My friend! We're going to be there when his piece burns. And he made a piece that's joining the Flaming Carousel creatures this year.

The US can't even ensure its colonies have water; why the fuck are we marauding for more places to colonize? JK: I know it's about resource extraction.

Ah, slowly packing for That Thing In The Desert, where I have an actual contract J-O-B as well as supporting an interactive art piece.

Exactly this. What’s funny is they don’t realize how much work behind the scenes went into getting GA to where it is today….long B4 folks started paying attention. Stacey Abrams, her group, & others were putting in work for years B4 anyone noticed. The first GOTV mail campaign I ever worked on

This post is unavailable.

I remember when I used to wear colored contacts. Every day. Purple. Hazel. Grey. Like 25 years ago, I went to glasses-only. Kinda miss having fun fake irises.

Are there dead voters on voter rolls? Absolutely. About 8,500 people die every day in the United States. 70 percent are registered voters. If it takes a week to take someone off the voter rolls, roughly 42,000 dead people are still registered to vote. There is no evidence of mass voter fraud here.

Don’t take the bait. Whether ICE planted drugs or there were drugs DOES NOT MATTER. It’s irrelevant to the murder. Feds want us to debate drugs in a story that’s about murder. Stay focused on the murder. It’s not about the victim’s virtue or lack thereof. It’s about ICE murdering people.

Ossoff: In my view, he's obsessed with Georgia because he can't get over the fact that it was black voters and black political power who were instrumental to his defeat in Georgia and in a number of crucial battleground states.

Reminder: Every time you purchase an audiobook on Libro, your chosen indie bookshop benefits.

The seamless Spanglish of that Walmart commercial is actually making me think less-negatively about a company that helped destroy local grocery and hardware stores.

Today is the 250th anniversary of Boston’s mass inoculation against smallpox on July 3, 1776. The city was effectively closed to commerce from July through September 1776. The mass immunization effort was cheered as evidence of true independence. Here's how I described it in my book:

I’ve driven across this country 3 times. The idea we don’t have room for immigrants here is absurd horse shit. The reason this country has and can be so great is because of immigration. Most other countries shut themselves off and regurgitate insular thoughts and ideas. Our diversity is our power.
