I feel like this past Summer Games Fest week has not only been the literal best it's ever been, but I'd say it's the most anything has felt like the old E3 highs in nearly a decade. I loved every major showcase, tons of game impressions coming out, general positivity about the games on the horizon.

Milk Bar Pie was the first bake I ever really did: an on-a-whim weekend impulse from me and Jake to try baking something we saw on a show and bringing it into work. Now years deep into my baking persona, and close to 5 years without my baking partner, it's nice to make it again and bring it in <3

Outer Wilds is a masterpiece

it feels wild to me how lacking LA is in nightlife that isn't just... bars. Whenever I'm in New York and I'm out at midnight stopping at a coffee shop to hang with friends, walking by a bustling comedy show, dropping by an active corner store... it's such a vibe then I come home to 8pm silence.
