Just adding up the layoffs from today is putting collective centuries of experience in AAA dev out on the street. It's not just one person's career, but teams who've worked well together. A lot of this experience can't be copied by hiring different people. None of it can be copied using GenAI.

My heart breaks for the hundreds of Bungie devs who lost their job today, in large part because of C-Suite greed (3.6 billion?! Really, Pete? Seriously, Jim?!) and poor studio management. All of you deserve better.
