i am inviting anyone from a legacy media organization to explain to me why the house judiciary dems report on trump’s epstein’s ties and multiple allegations of rape isn’t worthy of extensively reporting on. i’m serious. i want to understand.

This is a version of my mantra: Don't give them the fight they want to drag you into!

I’m not a political journalist, so was gladly surprised at the community I found here last night. To Americans anxious about the upcoming elections, a key thing we learned in Brazil that might help you: DO NOT engage with the far-right online. Don’t share rage bait. Amplify your people. Ignore them.

Dr. Tyler Black highlights a truth proven by data: "Every experiment on basic income shows it saves, not costs, extra money."

My kid is 100% not going to get to vote for me because his absentee ballot has already taken more than two weeks to get to him in Springfield, MA, and there's no way it can travel back in time. Postal Service is foundational to democracy and they've destroyed it on purpose.

SAM. The remedy is ranked-choice voting! You're so close here, bro. Should I be elected (as an independent!) I will push for a constitutional amendment that would allow RCV at the state level. No idea why it's not a big part of Rick's campaign.

Let's go! An election song!

We don't need outside direction. This is our goddamn election. Try to buy us -- you're bound to fail. I co-wrote a song with Josh Fortenbery with help from @pat.alaskarobotics.com. We have THOUGHTS about billionaires spending for Prop. 2 in Alaska, and we will be voting NO. youtu.be/W0u7nS1_O_4

Oof. I talk climate change resilience at just about every door, and I haven't heard a single piece of pushback, and yet our "leadership" in Washington actively works to speed up climate change and imperil us further while they build their bunkers and look forward to the apocalypse.

Blistering record heat in Europe this summer helped kill more than 50,000 people, with nearly two-thirds of that death toll blamed on human-caused climate change, a new study found. n.pr/4zJgcde

Attack text! Have been waiting for the "pretending to be independent" thing to get thrown at me. They note I changed my registration in February. And I did! But it was from Green to Unenrolled. Obviously. My 30-year history with the Greens is just completely ignored by ... everyone.

But also, I do have and have had my issues with Maine's Green Party leadership and I found their "help" to be deleterious during the Lisa Savage and Jill Stein campaigns I worked on. None of my positions changed (not like anyone would ever ask me what my positions are).

Why'd I unenroll? No one has asked me this (or, really, anything beyond the most basic of "why are you running" questions). It's because you need 25 Green signatures to get on the ballot, and there are only like 40 Greens in my whole district, and tracking down 25 would have been HARD.

I’ve been served this ad dozens of times and every time I hate Kyle a little bit more.

Wow. Very powerful oped from Lana Pelletier, longtime partner of Troy Jackson. blasting Collins and her team how low they've stooped: My family has been dragged into the US Senate campaign. I want to speak for myself. www.bangordailynews.com/2026/10/21/o...

bangordailynews.comOpinion: My family has been dragged into the US Senate campaign. I want to speak for myself."Susan Collins and her allies are using my family to tell a story that simply isn’t true."

I'm thinking the "socialist" doomsday stuff isn't landing because, well, is it really going to be worse than this? It's why medicare for all is crushing at the doors right now: Can it possibly be worse than paying $1200 a month for the opportunity to pay a $5k deductible?

A relatively new organization called Grassroots Gray asked me a few questions and it turned into a pretty good 2-minute distillation of my pitch, if you want to check it out.

BREAKING: ProPublica's new bribery story just named Democrat Jim Clyburn & Sen. Lindsey Graham. Susan Collins called this "a partisan hit job." Partisan? It names Democrats. The contractor called Collins his most important patron. Investigate them all. Start at the top.

The Gray Town Council held a workshop to identify 2027/2028 priorities, and this is what they came up with. Basically looking to eliminate our rec program and close the library. "Move to Gray! We work to make sure families hate it here!"

Can anyone explain Bill Green's passion for Susan? Why is he so ride or die?

Bangor Daily News@bangordailynews.bsky.social

"It’s easy for a candidate to criticize and cast aspersions. It’s harder to write legislation that can get through a sharply divided Senate. Susan Collins has done so many times." www.bangordailynews.com/2026/10/19/o...

Honestly not sure which are worse: The PAC ads attacking me or the PAC ads supporting me. I don't fight! I work! I'm a radical pacifist and I've been working to eliminate the language of violence from political discourse for a long time. Stop telling people I'm going to fight for things!

Just saw the video of the servicemember who died during the Navy football game. Wish I hadn't. What a terrible thing. We really need to be assessing the risk-reward on these military demonstrations. Just a senseless tragedy.
