Absolutely. The first woman to advise me on makeup insisted that it supposed to be "subtle", that it should look like I wasn't wearing it. Instantly something I was excited for became a joyless game of "does this help me pass" that took years to push through.

That wasn't her fault really, she didn't really know how much of a hang up I was going to have for Doing Things Correctly. That bit I did to myself, but I internalised those first few bits of womanly advice from cis women faster than a toddler.

Begging someone to please implement more realistic drug effects in RPGs. Like, I know it's extra work but I'm so tired of having my character do, like, future ultra-spaceman-heroin and then all that happens other than a damage resistance buff is the camera going a bit fuzzy.

People say that poly seems really hard, and like, it definitely can be. But I think the struggles of being poly are actually very much the same struggles of being monogamous. But the biggest tests, strains and struggles arise every few weeks instead of every few years lol.

I think I just fundamentally believe people are what they do. There is no inherently good or bad person, born or made. Our actions do not leave moral stains on our souls. We must have the agency to stop causing harm. To repair what we can. And to be better people. And I want that for everyone.
