this is a perfectly reasonable list, imo these four are all monumentally awful on trans issues and this is a more than fair place to draw the line, especially given how the elections currently look - three of them are in the house, where dems will romp regardless, and iowa can do better than turek

one of the most important lessons I learned in my time with the union was that all decisions, and I do mean all, come down to a single calculus: can you make those with power believe it is more expensive to say no to you, than to say yes?

A new survey of 1,000 American adults found that the strongest supporters of transgender sports bans are not the people who admire women most: they are the people who hold the most hostile views about women. www.helenwebberley.com/news/transge...

"After the surgeon removed my tumor, my stomach looked like a horror movie connected by twelve inches of staples and yellowish pink flesh. He instructed me to keep my wound clean, but the correctional officers assigned to me refused to let me shower for 7 days. I was also denied food for 5 days."

I don’t know how people could say that programming and art are completely different disciplines when both workflows involve going ‘This will never work, I’m a failure’, changing one thing, then thinking you might be the smartest person alive

"The Trump administration is trying to sue to prevent a Democrat Senate win in Alaska. Here's why that's the vote abstainers' fault." One of us is openly breaking the fucking law, and yet that's not the one y'all keep yelling at, for some reason.

"This is what happens when you try to send the Democrats a message" Oh word? So we're just supposed to elect one party in perpetuity forever, regardless of how they actually perform the job? Sounds like democracy died a long time ago and you're just watching the corpse twitch.
