this is 1000% because of the success of tadc/backrooms/obsession and you better believe they're trying to figure out how to monetize furry subculture next

It's also fairly common that if you're hiring someone less experienced in making print-ready files that they will send you a file that might be more difficult to print, so it's just as important to know limitations because then you can offer suggestions to make the file more printer friendly :)

Author friends, take note! KDP accepts cover files in RGB, but they *will not* have accurate color. And even when you convert the file to CMYK, some colors just won’t reproduce the way you thought they would. Don’t be afraid to ask your cover artist for corrections!

KikiDoodle & Purrmaids@kikidoodle.bsky.social

I keep seeing posts by folk confused why their prints aren't screen accurate, and the common theme is that they seem to have ZERO idea that their computer screen is RGB (colors mixed using light) and that all printers are CMYK (colors mixed using ink). So, have some VERY generalized printing tips:

Looking through the daily sketchbook/notebook I brought to Madagascar. I can't believe it's already 8 years ago. I was my dream to go since I was 13 and it's the only 'exotic wildlife' trip I've ever been on. My body can't handle a lot so I'm not sure if I could ever return most of these areas.
