Either Talarico has coattails and is dragging Hinojosa over the line or Paxton is dragging down Abbott with him or perhaps a combination of both but at this point I would not be surprised if Dems sweep Texas

Today is not just the 250th anniversary of our nation but the 245th anniversary of recognizing it. 245 years ago Massachusetts, in 1781 while the Revolution was still being fought, became the 1st state to recognize July 4th as the birth of our new nation.

Today is the anniversary that the Massachusetts 20th, 19th and 15th regiments helped to destroy Pickett’s charge with Paul Revere’s grandson - Colonel Paul J Revere - dying for the Union cause. 5 soldiers from Massachusetts were awarded Congressional medals of honor for their bravery that day

Yes impeach him - there isn’t a better visual that will show the country we have had enough

This is reprehensible and shows just how bogus his justification for freeing her was. Peters participated in an attack on our democracy and has no remorse. Colorado Democrats must impeach Polis. This much flagrant contempt for the rule of law must have consequences

Updated count: Over the last 8 days, I'm counting 15 Democratic incumbents who have lost to, or for the CO races are now trailing, a challenger to their left. —3 congressmembers (2 NY, 1 CO) —4 state senators (2 in NY, 2 in MD) —8 state house members (5 in NY, 1 in MD, 2 CO) (Will update tomorrow)

This is really where a lot of Dem politicians - Biden was one but he is not alone by any means - fail to market the good they are doing - This is gold here - constantly sell how you are doing good things

It takes an entire city to prepare for extreme weather, and that's exactly what we're doing. We've activated our Heat Emergency Plan ahead of tomorrow's heat wave, bringing every agency together to protect New Yorkers.

People don’t get how damaging the Supreme Court has been to our nation over the years. They set the Civil War in motion with Dred Scott in 1857, created segregation with Plessy in 1896., allowed eugenics in 1927 in Buck v Bell, selected our President in 2000 & made money king in Citizens United

I like this - it doesn’t abandon Israel but it says they have to end the division if they want our help. Of course the Palestinians have to be on board as well.

The Maryland Democrat said if his party expects to win the presidency in 2028, it must condition military aid to Israel for a two-state solution.

The updated Election Day numbers are in, per a state official. Democrats make up 49.3% of today's vote, slightly edging Republicans, who account for 48.2%. (The rest are nonpartisan ballots.) In a state where Republicans typically outpoll Democrats on Election Day, this is a big deal. #gapol

Senator Bill Cassidy, who was just castrated in his primary by Trump, finally decided to do something principled and voted with Dems on a 50-47 vote in the Senate to require congressional approval for any more military actions against Iran

Colorado Democrats must impeach Jared Polis. Peters tried to help Trump overturn democracy and would do it again

JD Vance cites Tina Peters as an example of someone who's receive a payout from Trump's new taxpayer-funded J6 slush fund

One of the judicial reforms that we should have is a new bar exam for each level of the judiciary. This would not be a typical bar exam. These exams would test knowledge of history, math, science, economics, etc so that judges would be more knowledgeable about what they are actually ruling on

We are in a Cold War for a functioning Democracy. Each day that goes by reinforces that view. Dangerous times.

Huge. This is worth 3-4 seats for Republicans—basically equivalent to their possible post-Callais gains in the Deep South.

Somebody get this man a side hustle as national advisor to Democratic campaign image

I joined NY’s Cutest on the Bergen Bike Bus that they ride to school every Wednesday, rain or shine. We’re adding bike boulevards and more pedestrian space on Bergen and Dean Street, from Court Street to East New York Ave. It was a wonderful kind of day.

It really might be useful if Dems every once in a while note that to the extent there has been a "war" with Iran for decades, it started in 1953, not 1979.
