It takes time for people to get that we’re in the fascist timeline. Fascism is rooted in colonialism. We’ve seen it in Palestine & the imperial boomerang is bringing it to Europe. I spoke to BBC five live listeners to point out the danger, & that’s why @ukstoptrump.bsky.social is mobilising ✊🏽.

On Wednesday a man recently released from psychiatric hospital is alleged to have attempted to murder Ishmail Hussein and to have attacked Shloime Rand and Moshe Shine. The accused had been staying in supported housing for mental health patients in South London. [1/2]

While media outlets have largely ignored the first, Muslim victim Ishmail Hussein, Starmer and the establishment seek, absurdly, to weaponise the attack to ban Nakba day and Palestine Solidarity Campaign protests. I discussed the issue on last night’s BBC Radio 5 Stephen Nolan show.

GREEN WIN at Gorton & Denton shows that a politics of hope, antiracism, Palestine solidarity & going for the billionaires can win, and win MASSIVELY. But elections alone won’t save us. We need to be ready to resist the violent state forces controlled by a corrupt antidemocratic billionaire class.

Billions of pounds of taxpayers’ money is being wasted on border controls, the detention estate, and shitty asylum ‘accommodation’ aka prisons that isolate people seeking safety from communities. All that money could be spent on good, cheap social housing for EVERYONE.

Our Griff Ferris speaks on the BBC about the waste of public money on private companies that profit from providing inadequate housing for those seeking safety & how this money can go towards improving local council housing to house people seeking asylum in our communities, where they belong. So Elon Musk asked Jeffrey Epstein “Do you have any parties planned? I’ve been working to the edge of sanity this year …”. Working right on across the edge, he then became obsessed with the idea that only Muslim men in the UK operate child grooming gangs www.theguardian.com/technology/2...

theguardian.comElon Musk had more extensive ties to Epstein than previously known, emails showNewly released files from DoJ show the pair making plans in 2012 and 2013 for the Tesla CEO to visit Epstein’s island

I’m seeing posts from people (outside of MN) about how US citizens should carry their passports. And let me say that *inside* MN, we are calmly responding to requests with: “No, I don’t have to show you any documentation.” Because that’s how you protect everyone, regardless of immigration status.

So honoured to support the amazing team @jcwi-uk.bsky.social in this important work. The struggle carries on for liberation and the dismantling of colonial border regimes ✊🏽

🎉Our client has won! In a landmark case, he is the first Palestinian born in Israeli-occupied Palestine to be granted asylum in Britain, despite sinister ministerial intervention. 🧵[1/5] www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2026...

Colonialism is crisis. It’s time for global movements around the world to rise up against extractive corporations driving war and militarism. #venezuela

The stupidity of decades of UK defence policy remaining dependent on America is now unveiling itself. You gonna fight Trump’s annexation of Greenland with defence infrastructure dependent on US supply chains? Pfft.

Empire. Unmasked. Iraq, Afghanistan, Palestine, Ukraine, Syria, Vietnam, Algeria, Venezuela. ‘National’ sovereignty doesn’t protect anyone from the imperialist logics of capital.

Migrants must have no debt??? The whole country is based on debt. That’s what Britain sells to the world. It makes our elite wealthy. But of course, their victims just deserve ever more punishment.

Our comment on this horrifying case is featured in @theleaduk.bsky.social. Thanks @lukebeardsworth.bsky.social for reporting on this story. The government must stop wasting billions of pounds of taxpayer money enriching private corporations like Serco & create safe, permanent housing for everyone.

Our @seemasyeda.bsky.social told The Lead: “It is horrifying that this Palestinian family, fleeing Israel’s brutal settler colonial regime, is being treated so inhumanely, especially right after they raised concerns about poor hotel accommodation in national media.”
