i dunno, man, i know people have got complaints about time changes, hell i have complaints about them, but i'd much rather have my (theoretical) small children walk to school in daylight, thank you.

Something I forget a lot is that I am allowed to buy the little dollar store craft kits to do myself. When I remember that I can do this, I always end up having a really nice time doing a little craft. Today, I am making little Halloween decorations.

We have officially lived in our little house for four years now. Happy housiversary to us. Me of five years ago couldn't even conceive of having a house of my own. And now look at her.

Been in Pittsburgh for the week, found a bar with shots of malΓΆrt. Did one. And y'know what, it's not bad? Like, yes, the crushing bitterness does fuckin' linger, but it isn't completely unpalatable.

I literally don’t know a single woman who hasn’t been raped, stalked, groped, harassed, or sexually violated in some way at some point in their life. If you choose to doubt and dox survivors, just know every woman in your life is disgusted by you.

Pompeii is a UNESCO world heritage site not because it was remarkable in its prime, but because it survived to our era untouched: one moment, preserved for all time. But future generations won't know what OUR world was like unless we do the same. This is why we MUST bury Toronto with a volcano

This animated map shows a day of actual UK train movements, delays and all! On 19 August 2026 the network peaked at 1,794 trains moving at once. Even around 3am, at least 141 were running. Passenger services wind down, but freight and maintenance keep rolling. Source: buff.ly/0zrhl41

OPP: "Last week, sharp eyed drivers alerted #BurlingtonOPP members to a #raccoon that got in a little over their head. Members were able to block the left lane of the ramp from eastbound #Hwy403 to #Hwy407 in Burlington to give a helping hand & free up Rocky who fled the scene, seemingly unharmed."

This is the part many Americans -- including the Bezosites at the Washington Post -- don't understand. Canadians don't see this just as a Trump thing. It's that America elected him twice, and the second time with an even bigger mandate. The problem we're addressing is America, not Trump.

"Out of spite for President Donald Trump, Carney is accelerating the decoupling of a trade bloc that has generated enormous prosperity for North America." Seriously, Wapo editorial - you're going with Canadian spite? www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/202...

Personally I would not pick this fight with the youtube guy who demonstrates all the ways he can nail you with an arrow at 200 yards using his feet while wearing 12-inch Pleasers, whose wife can also kill you with her bare hands, and has 9 billionteen followers who are all trans women with swords.

Blumineck lo ha vuelto a hacer πŸ₯Ή le aplaudo hasta que se me caigan las manos, bravo. "Be masculine, be feminine, be neither, or be both. But be kind."

have had two separate incidents at work recently where i had to follow up on an audit request and the reply came back with "this got stuck in my drafts" as the excuse. i don't ... i don't think that's how drafts work. your outbox maybe, but even then, it should go once the backend process runs.

i really wish people would just say that they didn't get to it, and here it is now. this is on top of the ongoing problem i am having where i work hard to make my communication clear and intentional and people are just straight up not reading what's being sent to them.

One of the coolest things about people who don't have a lot of power taking a principled stand is it lays bare the complete cowardice of the ones who actually *do* have power when they fail to do even a fraction as much.

Unlike Macklemore, these support acts don’t have big followings and they are giving up their chance to perform to stadiums to push back against censorship, not of themselves but of a fellow artist. Respect.

Something worth stressing in the Sheeran situation is how all of the artists bowing out have made a point of comparing and contrasting their prior positive feelings about working with Ed Sheeran with their choice to leave the tour. It reflects that even if Sheeran won't admit fault, they see it.
