Honestly, this type of show is much more compelling than the stupid theater we usually see.

In a Democratic administration, it would be treated as a scandal that a staffer used the government's top epidemiologist as her personal physician in a time of national crisis. But in this administration it gets the extra infuriating angle of then stabbing him in the back for political expediency.

it's incredible that as long as you do the right amount of bigotry you can just rob the country blind and enough people will not care, even though those same people will be filled with incandescent rage if someone uses food stamps to buy a 12 pack of diet coke

The news has moved on, but ICE is still in Minneapolis. My neighbors are still patrolling streets, driving strangers to work, and providing aid. As a photojournalist at @propublica.org, I wanted to know: What do they look like in their daily lives? So I picked up my camera 👇

Trump‘s brilliant plan of 50 year mortgages means that after your first 20 years making huge interest payments to a bank you will have paid down almost none of the principal and they will still own the house you are living in with 30 years to go. A scam from a career con man.

A man rushed to the Broadview ICE facility searching for his wife. They followed every legal step, but ICE took her into another room and she vanished. He tracked her phone there when the signal died. Police told him to “look up her name online.” He sat in the parking lot, weeping, with no answers.

Political violence and threats are not the answer. This is a watershed moment — we can choose to stay silent and live in fear, or we can choose to be loud for peace and compassion. We must work together to stop this crisis, and it should start from the top with the President.
