At @rocketcityreason.bsky.social, I was talked into trying Kopi luwak, also known as civet coffee. Civet coffee consists of partially digested coffee cherries which have been eaten and defecated by the Asian palm civet. It tasted like bitter Folgers filtered through tree bark and despair.

On calm days, there's fog/smoke drifting out of the campfire, and I still need to add a few elements. But this year's western scene is almost done. Most of the props were cheaply repurposed from the attic. I think we all need our distractions. For me this year, that project is Dreadwood.
