IDK if this has been done before, but I've been thinking for a while about making a sort of parody game of the classic FNAF games. No jumpscares or horror elements at all, but all of the classic gameplay loops, so those of us who like the game mechanics but can't take the jumpscares can play it.

Could even implement something similar to the distraction/redirection mechanics seen in later games. Cardboard cutouts you can only place 1 of, but get to choose the appearance of, so as to redirect a specific attacker. I think a poacher, a cop, & a snowman would work on Mustela, Sablez, & Wintasm.

I definitely have enough characters and such that I'd be able to get pretty far on it before needing to come up with anything new. Sablez, Wintasm, and Mustela could easily be the attackers, and even land on an accidental shared theme. Could also add player character options for replayability.

Cams can be simplified and defanged by making it a phone that doesn't consume the whole screen space. You would be able to still see the windows outside the doors while watching cams, reducing how much surprise there is in the fail state (remember, the point is to NOT scare the player).
