Week 7 of college is wrapping up, and my grades are still high. The pressure is real!

While college is eating into my writing time, I've still hit 81k words. :D The end is in sight.

The longer I stare at my screen, the more my brain says no to writing this reflection essay. *sigh* Week 2 of College is starting strong!

That's why I'm for Universal Healthcare, a guaranteed living wage, and communism or socialism...but some people just aren't ready to help each other because they lack empathy, or the understanding for what these things actually mean.

Just saw something that read: No hitting. Use your words so the pain lasts forever. Ngl, that made me chuckle. Words have edges and cut deep sometimes, so I can get behind that statement, but only if I'm ultimately using my words for good. This is why I'm writing.

Only 5 weeks left until my first day of college. Excitement is now battling with nerves. 😂 But I got this!

Nothing like getting brutal honesty about my draft, especially since it wasn't all bad. I loved hearing that, while it wasn't perfect, which I already knew, it wasn't bad either. The person who's looking at it hates reading, but they said they are actually enjoying the story.

RFK Jr demanded the *retraction* of a 20 yr Danish study that showed aluminums in vaccines do not cause health issues. The journal REFUSED saying the study has been peer-reviewed and found to have no significant flaws. Imagine asking science to un-science itself.

I'm officially a student, and I'll be taking classes this fall. Never thought I'd finally go to college at 38, but here I am! 😁

My new job is going well, and I absolutely love it! I'm working at a university, so I've decided to go for a bachelor's degree in English with a minor in Creative Writing. This will help me going forward, though it will eat into my writing time. May your enemies be close, but the shadows closer. :D

One of my protagonists suffered horrendously, so now it's time for him to lick his wounds as he moves towards attaining his vengeance.

Life has gotten in my way lately, especially work, but I'll soon be starting a new job. Hurray! This should give me more time to focus on my story because I won't be getting home physically and mentally exhausted. Or in pain. All that said, I'm just shy of 55k words with 22 chapters.

Coming up on the 50% mark for my story. Here goes nothing! I'm sorry to both of my protagonists for what they're about to go through.

My brain: But what about these ideas? Me: That's not for another three chapters. Stop it! Focus on the chapter at hand. My brain: ... No.

42.5k words and 14 Chapters deep in my main story. Yay!

My main story is coming along nicely, but I also started a short story, which I feel must be told. I need to be careful with this one, though. It's about the harm of conversion therapy, so it will cover topics that require sensitivity, especially as it's loosely based on a real story.

While walking the snowy streets of Maine, I saw someone carrying a flag that said "Fuck Trump" on it. I couldn't read the rest, but it was something to the verse of "And fuck you for voting for him" or "Fuck you too if you like him." Hats off to this person because they made my day! <3
