You put that guy in with any four guys and if someone asks “Who is in charge of Donald Trumps pool maintenance company?” You pick this guy every time

And so they meet again

a lot of Disclosure Day hate from people who also complain movies are not what they used to be. I thought this movie felt like an old big budget original story with lots of action. not everything has to be super deep, it can just be an interesting premise from a guy who can make movies very well

This is so cool. When I read a book I hate learning about a single fucking thing that I don't already know. The miracle of a person reaching out across the decades or centuries to reveal something universal about their humanity through the specifics of their time, and humanity itself, is bullshit.

I'm sorry, what???

Regardless of HoF opinion, cool to see Iron Maiden getting a moment of mainstream acknowledgement

The Rock Hall's inductees will include eight acts who have all been eligible for at least a decade. In its "musical influence" category, the hall nods to Latin and African pop for the first time. n.pr/4cl9U9E

I stopped going on there and opened a record store.

Can't fuckin' believe I'm doing this but here goes: Twitter is a mind prison, a true jail of career advancement. I stopped posting on there and within months I became the CEO of The Onion and I'm not kidding. Went back on last year, felt worse, then left again.

Its free! "It's the little things my mind commits To etch behind my eyelids Like getting stoned when we wake up Coffee grounds and coffee cups Your silhouette in high top sneakers And hardcore from laptop speakers The classics to the more obscure From Minor Threat to your old roommate's band"

I want FUCK ICE stickers for the store. ABOLISH ICE, anything. If you know anyone who has them put them in touch with me. I'll have them pay what you want with proceeds going to a food shelf.

today is a good day to ask yourself how much you actually support the independent artists and creators you enjoy, beyond just liking and subscribing. do you pay them money for their work? do you buy their things? fund alternative culture now or be left with the slop.

There’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for people to build on the rubble of what’s being destroyed before our eyes. Private corporations bending over to forcefeed everyone government-approved speech is evil and amoral, but more than anything this creates boring, inauthentic, unwatchable shit.

At the Gates are one of the all time greats. RIP Tomas

The passing of Tomas Lindberg is another huge blow to our scene. A true larger than life legend, whose instantly recognisable style was often imitated, but never bettered, he leaves behind a legacy of work that will live forever.

I saw Warren Zevon's last non festival show at The Barkley Ballroom in Frisco, CO on Aug 06, 2001. He started the show with "I never thought I'd be in a shithole like this"

this is maybe trite at this point but it is in your interest to find ways to create things. basically everyone wants you to be consuming nonstop. making stuff, from cooking to photography or whatever, can help you feel more in control. doesn’t even have to be something you share with other people

My favorite part about the truck is the logistics. a thread 1. He browses online maybe for "divorced dad truck stickers" 2. Then checks out a few sites and browses until he see one and is like "yeah that's gonna go on my car."

making it clear how normal and deserving of custody i am with my cool truck

5. He cleans off a spot after he ponders where to put the sticker. Maybe tests a few out before peeling . 6. Really carefully puts it on so there's no wrinkles and it's straight on there.

3. It shows up in the mail one day and he's like "oh yeah! That 'FU family court' sticker I ordered came!" 4. He has some free time and is like "I should put that sticker on my truck!" Maybe he even thought about when he could do it.
