This is, bar none, the stupidest fuckung thing I’ve ever heard. And the idea that there’s nobody in the chain of command - civilian or military - with enough courage to say so is a disgrace.

This is from a man who's never had to schedule an appointment with a pediatrician. These doctors' offices tend to be incredibly overbooked as is. Especially in underserved communities. This is a nightmare for them.
It's even worse... " All childhood immunizations should be administered at separate medical visits." -- imagine the added costs and hassle to families! --- www.whitehouse.gov/presidential...

I will be saying "That's a bad noise" in my best Slovenian feminine accent for a week.
Weijia Jiang gets the first question and she asks Trump what he was thinking in that moment. He beams "Good question!" at her. Says he thought he heard "a tray," from quite far way, "but it was a gun. Some people understood that very quickly." Says Melania said "That's a bad noise."
Unless you have really solid evidence of something more sophisticated, we have to assume that some nutter with a gun did something stupid. This is America, Jack. www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Irv...

"We have so much gas under my leadership." Checkmate, @ddale8.bsky.social
"Today, we were gonna have the privilege of shooting down a very big electric generation plant." Bragging about war crimes, exactly what 75 million American citizens voted for.
Trump: "If you read the papers, you'd think we're tied, you'd think we're in a tough battle. We're roaming free over Tehran. The city. Tehran. As opposed to Iran. We can do whatever we want. Today, we were gonna have the privilege of shooting down a very big electric generation plant."
Very proud of @readjack.bsky.social. He was shouted out by David Simon for his very astute observations of Robert Mueller's impact on the making of the Wire.
Damn. Credit to this poster, who has paid attention to all of the pieces. And indeed, as we were prepping the pilot, Mueller's FBI was going all in on counter-terror and Squad 5 (Narcotics) of the Baltimore field office was dumping casework. We had to report, write and film that in real time.
