i have saved the footage i needed. turns out it was a weird thing going on with a new m.2 drive that i put the footage onto to make space. there was about 20 minutes where every folder that had files and footage on it was empty, but I managed to work it out and save most of the footage!!

welp. i just lost about 2 years worth of game footage that i had stored as backups just in case i needed them... including all of the footage for Silent Hill Townfall that i was going to use for my video on it.

Just rolled credits on Silent Hill: Townfall. I had a small wave of emotions with this one. moments that were incredibly frustrating, things about it that felt lazy, but it honestly came through in the end and despite likely getting the worst ending, i came out the other end very positive.

the Clara Woods Estate section in Silent Hill Townfall is some of the best survival horror level design i have seen in a very long time. i had a big fuckin smile the ENTIRE time i was playing through it
