Listen, there are a myriad of better reasons to be angry at the current admin, but right now, as I sit in ORD on a 6 hour delay due @americanair.bsky.social mechanical issues—with my $12 voucher that didn’t even cover a coffee and a candy bar—I’m mad they dropped airline consumer protection plans.

Baby’s first cane! Recently learned I can’t take my hiking pole in my carry-on because of the ice tip under the rubber cap. So… Teal cane and little octopus friend. It’s actually way more comfortable than the pole, less vibrations up through my elbow. I’m very excited about it!

Not sure about the other vote-by-mail states, but in King County WA, you can get a replacement ballot and/or envelope by printing it at home. kingcounty.gov/en/dept/elec...

Pay attention to how to get your ballot and how to return it this year because things are going to get wild. Don’t wait to the last minute for any of this. In WA, we can track our ballots every step of the way and remedy things quickly if it’s “lost.” Not every state is as efficient with mail-in.
