My heart is heavy. Walter Koenig, our Ensign Pavel Chekov, passed away early today. Walter and I met on the bridge of the Enterprise in the 1960s, and we stayed friends for nearly six decades. When Brad and I married in 2008, Walter stood beside us as our best man.

People should stop calling tech manual "bibles". The Bible is a barely coherent bunch of stories and half-truths, told by illiterate men, packaged together by the powerful to exert political control over the masses. Your average tech manual can only dream of being that

My wife and I were so hot when we were young. She was very beautiful and I was so handsome. Now we are in our late sixties, I look like Danny Divito and she looks like Mitch Miconnell. I can't unsee it now.

I started a rumour that the vicar who came in to teach Christian Education didn't have a soul. It made it onto to agenda of the PTA meeting and the minutes showed that he asserted that he did have a soul. Religious schools are really peculiar.

Ministers should have to dress like the sectors they engage with. Science ministers should wear labs coats, building ministers should wear hard hats, boots, and hi viz. The farming minister should wear a flat cap and carry a shepherd's crook.

Crypto will be listed in history as the biggest ever transfer of wealth from a great many dumb individuals into the hands of a few very powerful individuals. Those billions Trump and his kids "raised" with the Trump coin? Where exactly do you think that money comes from?

Fyi in 2024 the Harris Campaign spent $1.2 billion during the 2024 election and Trump spent around $500 million. Money isn't everything in politics.

In the same way that the downfall of Al Qaeda gave way to the rise of ISIS I do worry that Farage's fall, when it comes, will be the handmaiden of something worse.

Trump claims he was basically lifted out of the rubble on 9/11: "Two fireman, big strong guys, they grabbed me under the arms -- 'got to get our of here!' -- and they literally lifted me up, and they started running with me."

You absolutely should look a gift horse in the mouth. Otherwise, you might end-up with a crap horse, or even a dead one. And then you've got to get rid of it.

So, US policy is to be “devastating” to Canada until we break them and do what we want. It will take generations to recover from this madness.

We're gonna do it, aren't we? We're actually gonna do it. We're gonna let greedy rich cunts cook the planet and suck it dry of energy and water just so bots can send emails to other bots. Un-fucking-believable.

Between 2016 and today, the US has spent almost $9 trillion on defense. It then ran dangerously low in many advanced munitions fighting a country with no air force and navy--after about two months of combat operations. This is an extraordinary scandal.
