ICE brutally detain woman's gardener-right in front of her house. 4 goons drag and violently pull man out of truck head-first. Kneel on his back after pinned down to pavement. "I can't breathe! I can't breathe!" he cries out. Incident occurred in Everett, Washington.

Donald Trump a fearless hero? Oh, gurl, pleeeease! This would be Donald on the Titanic, making his way to a "women and children only" lifeboat—after elbowing a couple dozen children out of the way.

My last two films in the VistaVision series @academymuseum.bsky.social were Artists and Models (very cute and kooky young Shirley MacLaine against Martin & Lewis) and The Girl Rush. An obscure balls out musical starting Roz Russell. Too much makeup but fun costumes and she tore into it. 4K DCP. 🤷🏼‍♂️

The ONLY reason why he did it is because someone told him he would lose the support of Tennessee and other red states if he didn’t lower the flags. He did it out of self preservation. He didn’t do it after Rep. Melissa Hortman was murdered, he wanted to piss off Minnesota.

I beat the heat today by attending a screening of the ice cold & beautifully made noir GILDA. Rita Hayworth just takes your breath away, Glenn Ford is so good and the camera work is quite dazzling. There was one shot where several people in the audience literally gasped out loud. My heart danced.

Duckworth: "He appointed the most incompetent secretary of defense in our nation's history. All he seems to be worried about is testosterone levels in our troops instead of making sure that he actually has a plan to execute this mission in Iran and ending it before even more Americans get killed."

How many completely innocent people have to die before there is accountability? How are communities supposed to feel safe when federal agents act as judge, jury, and executioner?

This is possibly the most cold-hearted, soulless thing I have ever read. Fuck ICE.

WHOA DHS does not say that the agent feared for his life… just the vague concern for “public safety.” So he killed him just because he did not want him in America, not because of any specific threat to agents?

🎬 75 years ago today, on June 30, 1951, the brilliant, tense and iconic "Strangers on a Train" premiered in American theatres! Directed by Alfred Hitchcock, it stars Farley Granger, Robert Walker, Ruth Roman, Leo G. Carroll and Patricia Hitchcock. #16mmInferno #AlfredHitchcock #StrangersOnATrain

Listen, the fact that the GOP is freaking out that Spencer Pratt didn't win is a VERY bad sign for November. And the fact that they're willing to claim fraud and say the evidence is the lack of evidence, makes it even scarier.

RAJU: But what evidence is there to prove the California election is rigged? MIKE JOHNSON: Look, some of these efforts are so diabolical and so far upstream it's impossible to prove. But I think everybody knows instinctively that something is wrong here.

This is the coolest ceasefire ever, you can just bomb shit every other day, call it defensive, and claim the ceasefire is still intact.

I don’t think so, no. He’s desperately trying to end it. The new idea is a round of intense strikes (possibly this weekend) and then just declaring victory and walking away. He’s tired of the fighting (and getting hammered in the polls) and thought it would be easy to end the war whenever. Moron.
