You deserve love. You deserve safety. And you sure as shit deserve a whole lot more than you are being given or even allowed. You are seen. You are loved. You belong. Happy Trans Day of Visibility to all of our brothers, sisters, and siblings out there. May every day get better from here. ❤️🏳️‍⚧️

Just a random reminder that a lot of you are fucking rad and as hard and dark as these times are, you continue to at least survive, if not thrive, amid the darkness. And you deserve to acknowledge that.

Not really interested in hearing anyone with the Los Angeles Dodgers talking next week about how important Jackie Robinson was when they all smiled and posed today with a white supremacist trying extra hard to re-segregate society.

Nintendo Switch 2 presentation was overall solid Pros: establishing a clear identity and future for the system and brand with 4 quadrant appeal. Adding huge titles like Street Fighter 6 and Madden is a very impactful get. That might be the best part of the entire program for me

Cons: I don’t see any games aside from Mario kart World I want at launch. Not a dealbreaker, as I have other games I’m still playing. I’ll probably get a system at launch because it’ll be hard to get for the first few months otherwise

I just didn’t feel any connection to God after many years and decided that was that I prayed every night and I felt nothing. Nobody heard me. I went to church every Sunday and saw (what I thought) everyone around me fully living their faith. I felt everyone else but me got it

Church dropouts, why did you stop going to church?

I know a lot of folx have suffered from religious abuse and trauma. Of course I hate that, and of course I hate the long history of religion being used to harm and destroy. I will never stop holding faith leaders and followers accountable for the harm they cause

I consider myself agnostic because while I personally have no god and follow no religion, I understand the deeply personal relationship one can have with faith and I would never stand in anyone’s way for them to practice their faith and seek fellowship

I don’t have an antagonistic relationship with faith or religion personally. I never had a bad experience in church. Our minister was a close friend of the family and it pretty much rocked to see a badass older woman as a faith leader

So that’s why it was so hard yet made perfect sense for me to change my mind about staying in the church. I just had no reason to stay and keep trying because I felt I had no business among people who did believe and who wanted to keep their faith

My grandmother ran the Sunday school I attended with my brother every week. He’d left the state to live with our dad by the time I left the church. Gma respected my choice but I could tell she was confused and probably a bit hurt by it
