Is there a word for the cruelty of not telling you when someone dies? Ie; a great aunt you’re close to, you’re only told after her funeral. Or life long friends and you aren’t told at all. Also might include the part where I also got told people were dead or actively dying who were not.

It was when she turned on my kids. It made me so very ill. We left. A day later; she fabricated a violent death, told my kids. They cried so fucking hard. 4 months later; that death had not ever happened. That was 3yrs ago, on the back of 40yrs of abuse.
