I must be getting old because I've seen this Dems attacking each other right when it matters most thing way too many times. When we're all on the same team is when we win elections. Purity tests, Dems tearing down Dems, protest votes, and being angry with anyone with a different view is how we lose.

Allison Gill@muellershewrote.com

Dems & the DSA are all democrats, and we need to beat united. We need each other. The primary election winners are demonstrating that perfectly; why can’t the pundits & party leadership? We need to beat the REPUBLICANS, not ourselves. Bad actors will try to exploit perceived rifts. Don’t let them.

Spare me the outrage, MAGA. You defended Trump through all of it, you have zero moral authority now that someone’s doing something you don’t like. And just wait—you’re going to discover there are many more subjects on which no one respects your opinion after you supported him.

Rep. AOC: Ask Peter Thiel, ask Elon Musk, ask Mark Zuckerberg, if they want one of these data centers in their own backyard. I was just in Memphis. Everyone in that area is getting poisoned. This conversation is not just about technology, it's about people's ability to live without getting cancer.

Outstanding essay. Please take the time to read and share. An anecdote: I knew someone who was a Jewish refugee turned away by the US during the war. He was separated from his childhood sweetheart, who was admitted entry. They were eventually reunited years later, married, and raised a family here.

Big win today. A federal judge temporarily halted the proposed Warner Bros. and Paramount merger while our lawsuit proceeds. This is a critical victory for consumers, for objective and independent journalism, and for the workers, actors, artists and fans of our country's film and tv industry.

Dug so deep into the internet and found this photo of Lindsey Graham and Jeffrey Epstein together. Was Lindsey Graham also connected to the Epstein files? Interesting they're all connected

Absolutely deranged understanding of American government and the current times. The number of Justices isn't even in the Constitution, it's a statute from 1869! It is, in fact, not essential our Republic has a hyper-partisan GOP SCOTUS that makes sure its favored candidates and policies always win.

Adam Gurri@adamgurri.liberalcurrents.com

I just listened to a panel with David French and someone from the Brennan Center vociferously argue against expanding the Court. French said it would lead to “the dissolution of the republic.” About a third of the audience applauded. We need to get a policy culture that’s willing to do what it takes

It's a sign of how shockingly corrupt this country has become that a nominee for Attorney General is given a hearing by the Senate *the very same week* he has been referred by a judge for possible disbarment for unethical behavior. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
