I tried a Korean jelly face mask a couple of weeks ago. That was v v weird. I can only compare it to being a slab of pâté and having a layer of jelly laid on top of you.

Agreed.

Coffee capsules are my most indefensible, revoltingly middle-class, spitting-in-the-face-of-my-ancestors essential items, in the event of having to give them up due to any given disaster or apocalypse, I would just lie down in the road and die.

Thinking about the essential items I’d need to stockpile. So far I have: Salt and vinegar crisps Starbars Vimto squash Nespresso capsules Lemon curd

DSA is proud to endorse Herbert Lynn for Lexington-Fayette Urban County Council, At Large. A lifelong Kentuckian, Herbert is running on democratizing utilities, expanding affordable housing, and protecting our vulnerable communities from ICE and police surveillance.

I don’t remember the referendum options being Leave or Remain NO RETURNS.

It’s always worth adding something to you watchlist on eBay if you’re browsing. I just had a very low offer sent to me, and I had a £5 voucher added. Mat’s birthday present was half price 👍

I’ve been signed off work for a few more days. This is the worst I’ve felt since I started ADHD meds, and I know that I’d be feeling much, much worse without it.

About 20 years ago, my lovely late stepfather would empty his bowl of coppers (1p and 2p coins) and make 20p stacks on the stairs next to the front door. The trick or treaters always looked a bit surprised* *gutted

Halloween candy is expensive this year, so I’ll just be handing out nachos as is the tradition of my people, but guac is extra, ok?

Neal Lawson: "I couldn't live on the meagre benefits people are getting. To suggest that we have to cut those.. actually that's where the engine of growth is, that's the people who spend.. how do you get people out spending.. not by cutting benefits of people at the bottom"

There’s a new series of Last One Laughing for Halloween. Episode 3 has a guest appearance from one of the greatest comedy characters of all time who should have their own series.

This is day 2 of me wearing my posture support around my shoulders. Yesterday, there was a lot of crunching when I put it on, today, no crunching 👍

There’s a double benefit, because stretching and pressure through my joints is a way for me to get sensory regulation. It’s a sense called proprioception. It even helps with emotional regulation, so the more the better at the moment.

I spend most of my working life with people who need and seek more sensory regulation. Understanding what I need has made me a much better clinician.

70 percent of the internet was vulnerable yesterday to very bad security flaws inside a coding language. Turns out, *one volunteer* is mostly responsible for maintaining that code & helping push updates. Yesterday Ondřej Surý saved the internet. So I called him up www.theatlantic.com/technology/2...
