Megazarak's colours are amazing, but revisiting this mold after being used to the DNA upgrades on the other two is a doozy.

Mechanical Skull Studio is such a fascinating 3P company. They released two wildly successful figures based on the same mold, announced two repaints, and then just... Focused on 3D printed upgrades for mainline stuff instead?

I recently started reading Hokuou Futari-Gurashi, a really sweet slice-of-life manga about a couple who move to Sweden in order to escape Japan's stressful work-culture. It's equal parts cute and fascinating seeing your own culture represented through someone else's eyes.

Another TFCon means another chance for my hopes and dreams to be crushed by a lack of updates on Mechanical Skull Studios' legends scale Armada figures.

Buy Ben's Diaclone. These are fantastic toys. Especially if you got that mecha-itch.

The 1985 Artbook Cover! All 46 1985 catalog figures :D This is the second bonus print for preordering before Nov 8th! Order here: KaijuArts.bigcartel.com

DOON (2026)

Three months later, and there's still a noticeable electrical fire smell around Whirl. Gave me a scare the other day when I came home from work before. Dickhead.

After they completely dropped the ball with people's Haslab Victory Sabers, can't say I'm surprised. Even tho I got mine that became a point of never using them again.

Oh no he's Hot (Rod). Wish he took a bit more inspiration from other versions of the character. But as the 86 figure always felt like it was cramming too much into too small a size, I'm really enjoying that base engineering on a larger scale with some MP tweaks.

This week's ep of Metal Cardbot W was soooo gooood!

This isn't easy for me to say, but Sushi is in trouble right now. We're doing everything we can for her, but she needs your support. Please donate if you can, and share if you can't. Thank you. gofund.me/a5d60fe83

Replaying Metroid Dread in anticipation of Ravenous and just HOW IS SHE SO COOL?!

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 (2000)

How I arrived on Bluesky:

The best thing about package refreshes and reissues is there'll be fewer toys I have to budget for. He says having bought the reissues of the Battlechargers despite owning the first run.

Made the mistake of decombining and transforming Tyrant Zero for the first time before I left for work this morning and now I just wanna go back home and play with him some more.

They're calling it the @tfnationltd.bsky.social experience.

Holy. Crap. Tyrant Zero is even more of a beast in hand. (Shrapnel for scale)

It's finally here...

A hero's final rest. #lego #bionicle

"There, there, Kickback. You'll be alright, alright." "That's the problem. I'm already all right." (If anyone gets a Kickback with two left hands, please let me know.)

Just noticed my Studio Series 86 Kickback has two right hands. Sigh. Already binned the box too.

We're LIVE on YouTube with a big video about how the legendary G1 Optimus Prime set the tone for decades of #Transformers! 💥💥💥 youtu.be/QS2vpLl-JJE

It takes a certain type of sadism to schedule school photos at the end of the parent-teacher conference period. "Why do all the teachers look like they haven't slept for two weeks this year?" "Because they haven't."

NEW LEGENDS DALP AND BLUEBOLTS. BLUEBOLTS! FINALLY!

New Transformers comic by me!

Managed to beat the scalpers and secured a pre-order for the Metroid Ravenous Special Edition.

This is great, actually. Bayverse centerpiece: Achieved.

Will I wake up tomorrow cautiously optimistic, or feeling complete dread at the prospect of four more years of late stage capitalism cozying up to fascism? I hate election nights...

Bird of Prey (Samus Aran from Metroid Ravenous)

A new 2D Metroid trailer is exactly what the doctor prescribed after a long-ass day at work!

"Hey, Icepick. How do you transform?" "I put on hat :]"

Phwoar.

Current mood.

Got a modest gaming haul from Retromania in Västerås today!

A quick PSA about Synergenex Evangelion Prime. The jaw on the Eva-face is *NOT* on a hinge. It's on a downward slider. If you try and work it like a hinge it will likely break.

Me before work VS me after work.

Alan Tudyk on the TV, a fresh cup of tea, and a LEGO set I've been eager to build. Sunday GO!
