I contacted my Democratic senator about Elon Musk invading our personal information and what they plan to do about it. I was very disappointed to get a reply back basically saying they agree that this is bad and not right, but no response about what they are doing about it :/

It appears that Elon is setting up a major money grab. He is requiring that all NTSB announcements be only made on twitter. And will be in charge of all government payments. He's currently having trouble getting people to use his twitter money service - where do you think your tax refunds will go?

The thing not mentioned is that it's what you're not hearing about that are the most concerning things he's doing. They have access to the data and funds of the entire government. Reporters need to look behind these very loud, obnoxious smoke and mirrors to show us the real house of horrors.

3/ different pieces fit together. There also seems to be a significant amount of downloading government data onto private servers, etc, totally outside any cybersecurity regime. Additionally it’s unclear to the people inside whether the people doing these things actually work for the US govt…
