I just this moment discovered that Wendell Berry has passed. I feel such grief though he lived long and well. I don’t have it in me to find an essay or a poem right now, I just know the world has been made so much better by his existence and effort, and I’m trying to focus on that gratitude.

A victory has been declared in Athens, Greece after two activists suspended their hunger strike following a resolution to halt the plans to evict portions of the long-standing squatted community of Prosfygika. Tragically, both hunger strikers are in the hospital, one in critical condition.
