This seems like Trump at his Mad Kingiest because there isn’t even an obvious venal or corrupt motive. He’s just arbitrarily decided Magnets Bad, Hydraulic Good, and he knows better than the engineers.

Maybe there’s a kickback in here somewhere, but based on his public remarks, we’re going to spend billions reverting to a worse, older system because Trump has some weird irrational aversion to magnets. Which he apparently thinks don’t work if they get wet?

This is only going to consolidate Democrats around Swalwell in the primary.

It is great to see these big turnouts in these big blue cities, but the substantial turnouts in smaller red and purple cites and towns around the country are probably more important and striking. There were ~1000 very energized people at the event in the quite purple area near where we live!

This Administration spends more law enforcement resources on politically vindictive investigations and prosecutions than on fighting actual crime. It’s a complete disgrace.

This is a nationwide phenomenon. The centrists and normies are more viciously angry than the socialists and anarchists, who gave up long ago on the illusion of a working system. Would encourage leftists of all stripes to take it seriously, welcome them in while they’re receptive.
