We already have flying cars. They're called helicopters. They're really expensive and there are good reasons you have to have a pilot license and work with air traffic control to fly them. Putting jets on a sedan is not going to result in a better vehicle or transportation experience in any way.

Looking at this cumulatively is incredible: bottom 50%: 0.16 drinks, bottom 70% still less than 3 drinks. And as a result of this, because we tend to hang out with people like ourselves, if you drink you go to the bar and see people drinking the same or more than you. The non drinkers are at home

If you're not familiar with the alcohol consumption by decile chart, it's a real eye opening look at what being a hardcore alcoholic is like

The most absolutely massive flex from the state fair exhibit. This quilt is made of 40 years of prize ribbons from various categories at the New Mexico State Fair won by Carol St. Clair Johnson. She also won a prize for this quilt.

Am I being overly autistic by expecting the burocracy to mean the words they use‽ E.g.does your health condition *restrict* your ability to work? I take restrict to mean "to limit someone's actions or movement, or to limit the amount, size, etc., of something:" but apparently the DWP mean prevent.

If the test continues at this rate (big if 8 wickets in hand) Root could enforce the follow on. Which might be worth it since lords tends to improve over time, but I doubt the bowlers would be happy

Since Young thinks it's hilarious when someone is hounded to death over accusations that he doesn't belong at Oxbridge, we should treat him how he wants to be treated. He got into Oxford below his offer (BBB) "my father insisted on calling up Harry Judge ... they decided to offer me a place."

"Lord" Toby Young, who wants to ban us for "intimidation" and accused us of murder, now says his deadly harassment of a Black professor was “comedy gold”. His "Free Speech" Union promotes hateful behaviour and protects abusers. Toby Young is the real murderer. xoxo BASH BACK

Deeply ironic that one of the first page's signatories is Toby Young, given that Cofnas was so concerned about who earned a place at an Oxbridge university. But hypocrisy is table stakes and if one examines the race and ancestors of Young Vs Arday one may notice some pertinent differences.

The theme is #FabulousWaders for the #BirdOfTheDay. So here’s a photo of that one time I saw Roseate Spoonbills in Delaware, which is far out of their normal range. Truly fabulous! Oh, and there’s a bonus Tricolored Heron hidden in the shadows. #birds 🌿

Good morning all. For today's #BirdOfTheDay theme I've chosen #FabulousWaders Any wading bird that you love! For me it's the Avocet, a calm and graceful beauty wading along the shoreline! 🤍🪶 The Alt. theme is #Speckled any bird with speckled patterns on its plumage. 📷 #birds #photography #ECK

Starmer says he feels betrayed because he gave everything to labour including missing out on raising his sons, imagine giving up so much in order to bring in Draconian laws, assist a genocide, demonise trans people, kill asylum seekers, and help the far right become mainstream.

GREG DAVIES: seems like a kind of a shit task. Everyone just seems like they're going home normally. ALEX HORNE: well before you say that let's have a look at how Odysseus did. cut to panel of AJAX, MENELAUS, AGAMEMNON, and DIOMEDES who are all staring at ODYSSEUS with his head in his hands

The UAE was originally intercepting ~ 93% of the missiles, this has dropped to ~ 25% [it could happen here executive disorder 2026-03-13] Assuming the UAE was using 2 interceptors originally then p(intercept)=1-p(not intercepted)² which gives an intercept probably of 74% for a single interceptor.

This implies that the UAE has switched from using two interceptors to using a single interceptor which is in line with other estimates that at least 70% of interceptors have been used

Oh my OMG! Their long term ally is providing military support!
