I'm really curious to know how many of you openly just pirate old games or if you always try and run your own backups. There's a weird thing within the handheld scene where most listings at Amazon come with loads of ROMs, but we all sort of have to denounce that for obvious reasons.

Anyone else going as Pumpkin Hill from Sonic Adventure 2 for Halloween this year or just me? 🎃⛰️ The costume has a treasure hunting minigame where you can move Knuckles across the “level” and the radar necklace will blink as you get closer to the hidden emerald in the pockets 💎 I love Halloween!!

I do think we need more coverage like this, especially on the UK side of things and folks from working class backgrounds who could be about to lose everything due to being made redundant.

This might mean nothing to US folks, but Channel 4 is set to show a game show on Sunday called Million Pound Shot that everyone thinks is a front for a stunt. If it turns out to be AI generated, I swear I'll never watch broadcast television again in my life.

They're calling it a "quiz event" and there's reason to believe it could be. Derren Brown stunt or even just a spoof live thing a la Inside Number 9. But, Channel 4 is known for bullshit AI stunts, as it did one last October with Dispatches and a generated journalist.

Idk, my mental health can't deal with mainstream society drinking the AI kool-aid. I can't live in a society like that.

You can tell I'm doing well because all I want to do is go to bed in my free time (I'm not doing well).

The games industry is infested with ghouls who aren't actually interested in games and get more out of gloating when monumental studios like Bioware go under regardless of the suffering and damage.

Here are some words on why the new Street Fighter movie should have given the game's iconic stages the same treatment as its characters. I'm itching to actually watch it again and see if I can pick up more visual elements that tie into levels, but until then, my take stands.
