Belgian commentators made a great point: Hamilton used to have amazing tyre deg at Merc and won a lot of 1 stop races. Now seems he's got it working with Kimi as well. #f1

Big update to Quiche Browser for iPad today, notably: โ€ข A new toolbar more suitable for large screens, and working great at any size. โ€ข Related toolbar buttons visually grouped automatically for more clarity. โ€ข Self-resizing grids of tabs and favorites, to use screen space efficiently. #indiedev

This the best kind of plaque; for a humble musician who, for 35 years, busked here with his accordion. He didnโ€™t win battles or chair committees. But he cheer up millions. His name was John "Paddy" Delaney, but heโ€™ll always be the Accordion Man of St Albans, and this will always be his spot.

Your Earbuds Don't Have to Be Disposable - Fairbuds 2 #fairphone

youtu.beYour Earbuds Donโ€™t Have to Be Disposable - Fairbuds 2When a tiny battery wears out, why should the whole pair of earbuds go? We open the Fairphone Fairbuds 2 to see how replaceable batteries challenge disposable techโ€”and where repair could still improve. The Fairbuds 2 are smaller than their predecessors, but their earbud batteries still slide out without tools. Inside, we explore how Fairphone fits ANC, microphones, sensors, and accessible batteries into a compact design, then open the charging case to check its battery and USB-C port. Along the way, CT scans reveal hidden components, we explain why glue isnโ€™t always the enemy of repair, and we put the earbuds back together in working order. The result: a 10/10 repairability score, with one improvement weโ€™d like to see. What ended the life of your last pair of wireless earbudsโ€”and could a replaceable battery have saved them? I'm travelling to London via Thameslink, and that's the first time I've seen these trains this clean since their introduction in late 2017. Does public ownership make trains cleaner? ๐Ÿ™‚ โค๏ธ

Because coding was never the bottleneck. The bottlenecks are somewhere else: modeling, accessing domain expertise, and getting feedback from real usage. You can name it. Although the technology changed, the organizational problems are the same.

AI made code generation fast. So why aren't we shipping better software? A manager once asked why we spent so much time around the whiteboard instead of coding. My answer was: we are solving problems, not cranking out code.
