For the first time since I've been getting these updates on Helen Haines' condition from the Alfred it has changed from critical to serious but stable.

"every morning i mindfully kick a handcuffed farmer off a cliff"

the only interesting thing about albo is when he lies for no reason, "it wasnt a dirt file, i wanted the media to praise my political opponent" "i didnt trip over" etc etc why does he feel the need to do this shit lol

"if your friends jumped off a cliff, would you?" wonderful question, and the answer is yes of course, i trust my friends completely and would love to do an activity with them

'turning the temperature down' is also nowhere near as effective at reducing violence as strongly and generously meeting people's immediate health, welfare, wellbeing and educational needs

the problem with 'we need to bring the temperature down' statements is that most of the people who say it are also the Garfield meme

Oda saw one drag show and decided that his series needed an army of drag queens and other queer ppl to overthrow its fascist govt and every day I wish I was at whatever show that was

It’s fascinating watching one piece who didn’t realise that for decades a character’s arc has been about how his bravado isn’t a heroic man who is willing to self-sacrifice, its a traumatised boy who is willing to throw his life away find it out this week, love that it’s a drag queen explaining it

This was meant to say one piece fans, the series itself has been setting up this arc the entire time (although weirdly they cut the early set up from the live action) and I noticed it years ago because oda was not subtle about this being the arc for the character

No you don’t understand, the shows aimed at kids and teens when I was that age were sophisticated and cool, not this new childish cringe stuff for kids I hate watch in my 30s

Insecure men who get mad about female friends wanting to tell them stories about their dating lives with men will never know that they are just cutting themselves off from access to the treasure trove of content that is hearing how dogshit the average man is at dating

House House announcing that the reason Big Walk isn’t coming to XBOX is because Microsoft is on the BDS list makes me love that little Aussie studio even more, as if untitled goose game wasn’t perfect enough already

‘The Sydney Morning Herald has reported that a letter from seven party members was sent to Greens leader David Shoebridge on Tuesday night. The letter states the group has been made aware of "multiple allegations" against the senator that span from 2017 to 2025.’

Multiple people at PAX have already assumed I have a media or content creator pass, grossly underestimating my laziness when I comes to filling out the forms needed to get one

highly recommend following your lawyer on social media, you can think 'look at my lawyer dawg' every time they have the same crash outs that everyone else on social media have

I’m saying this as someone who studied to be an econ teacher for three years before stopping for health reasons and shifting careers to one where I engage with the media

just wrote a parody piece for the chaser annual and it might be my favourite thing ive ever written, i wrote from an angle that makes me want to punch myself in the face, it's perfect
