the jersey devil is a cryptid from american folklore that's said to live in the forests of southern new jersey. It looks like a kangaroo creature with a goat head, bat wings, horns, hooves, and a barbed tail. It moves quick and has a blood-curdling scream.

nagas are divine half-serpent half-human beings in south and southeast asian mythologies, as well as hinduism and buddhism. They can be depicted as human, serpent, or a combination of both.
We're throwing it back to 2010 fandom culture with this "Durarara!!" outro, redone with #EpithetErased characters.
Back in the day this was a required redraw.
I get to start working on #EpithetErased again. To celebrate, I drew Lorelai in an outfit from an AU where she was a spy in Prison of Plastic instead of a witch.
Chat named this persona "Cross-Hare", so I gave her a scar styled to look like a rifle reticle.

I've seen lots of art depicting the Green Goblin as transphobic. I can't help but wonder if maybe there's more to Petra Parker's archenemy.

I'm still so torn up over Dolly I haven't even begun to process Tim Curry. Our Hexxus, our Frank-n-furter, my personal Long John Silver. God, seriously, whatever we did, we're sorry, please ease up
Tim Curry was like a living cartoon character, putting total commitment into every role he ever did no matter how absurd.
Nigel Thornberry could have been just another dim-witted character but Tim Curry's performance elevates it to another level.
"It's given a lot of people permission to be themselves, to not dream it, be it, which is the motto of the movie, really. I would like to be remembered for that."
Farewell to Tim Curry (1946-2026) #RIP
Tim Curry was an inspiration, an icon, and huge player in many of the works that have inspired me.
I was always struck by his immense charisma, remarkable charm, and stellar comedic timing and delivery. From Rocky Horror Picture Show to Clue to Muppet Treasure Island...
Rest in Peace, you legend.
It's hard to tell how real a celebrity is.
Unless you're close to them, you *don't* truly know them. You *can't.*
But in lieu of that, the energy Dolly Parton radiated, her words of kindness and acceptance, her philanthropy, and her legacy as a whole painted a beautiful picture.
Rest in Peace.
my wife has a friend who sent Dolly Parton a painting she made & a letter explaining how much Dolly's music meant to her while she was transitioning. Dolly responded to it personally & paid for her top surgery. Sounds like an urban legend but it's real. I think we're going to more stories like this.
Dolly broke me in early to her raucous self deprecating sense of humor
when we began steel magnolias rehearsals
i asked her - how long does it take to do a hair do like yours?
Dolly - no idea, i’m never there when they do it!
i started taking Dolly-isms notes on the back of my script after that
