As a cis white dude ally. I will continue to mercilessly bully the terfs until they relent 🫡. I won’t vote for anyone who throws any marginalized group under the bus for personal gain. This isn’t even a white knight thing. POS bigot white dudes and women only listen to other white folk. 1/2

The elections are on next Tuesday, and so much is at stake, including the soul of the Democratic Party when it comes to transgender people. I am asking you to leave a very small number of races blank in which a Democrat has embraced extreme anti-trans hate. I make my case here.

As such it IS the responsibility of those not in a marginalized group to use that privilege to hurt the bigots feelings and make them scared to be bigots in public again. Ok? 2/2

With him and Abbott. Really giving us cripples a bad name…. That fuck should know what it’s like to be discriminated against You have my permission to push them down a flight of steps

Erin Reed@erininthemorning.com

Josh Turek of Iowa, Democrat, comes out with one of the worst anti-trans ads yet. Not only is it an anti-sports ad, it proposes a ban on federal funding for gender affirming care. That would hit all medicaid and medicare patients, and any ACA federally-subsidized plans as well. Horrific.

Have to call out the heroes of the Lulu win against obstruction

Anat Shenker-Osorio@anatosaurus.bsky.social

So much to say about Brazil, not least of which is the role that Erika Hilton, a Black trans leader and most voted woman politician in Brazil, played in mobilizing folks for Lula. She was behind the critical, concrete, economic promise of shorter work-week. theprint.in/feature/erik...

Where did all the Monster Energy guys who punched dry wall like it was their personality go? All named Kyle or something. Anyways, radicalize them and put them on the protest front lines against the riot cops. I have a theory I wanna test

We should give it a whirl

Look, I'm an evolutionary physiologist, ok? I believe in biology, not this sentimental feminist claptrap. Women are biologically optimized to be nurturers. They run households, they don't fight lions. That's why they're the only ones we can trust to govern our complex, industrialized civilization.

Yup! With other countries now realizing they can’t trust American Tech anymore. Silicon Valley is in deep trouble

Rafa Sales Ross@rafiews.com

In his acceptance speech, Lula says he will work to regulate digital platforms in Brazil. “Digital crimes must be dealt with like real-life crimes.” This comes after Meta directly interfered with the Brazilian elections, favouring Flávio Bolsonaro.

Is all this really feasible? Won't Trump refuse to sign anything like this? Won't he litigate it? Won't it lead to government shutdowns? Yes, yes, and yes. But it's still absolutely doable and necessary. Here's why: newrepublic.com/article/2171...

Lula: "We had to overcome foreign interference through digital platforms, which we will have to regulate. A crime in the digital world must be treated the same as a crime in the real world. We cannot have monstrous companies earning millions... not paying taxes... wanting to steer elections."

Oh? Why wouldn’t he want us to focus on the countries bringing in and reelecting left wing governments? Hmmmmm why would he be against that?

flyingrodent@flyingrodent.bsky.social

I think this becomes quite understandable in the context of an international fascist movement that has swept much of the planet in a decade, with horrifying and very extreme consequences for the entire species

LULA WON. The US and all the tech oligarchs tried to run interference. Their internal transport ministers beholden to the right wingers illegally stopped public transit so the mostly working class Lula supporters couldn’t get to the polls. Corruption and outside forces tried to steal the election

Finally back to the roots

The long-serving strongman leader of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, has conceded defeat in an election that pitted him and his right-wing party against a diverse student-led opposition movement that spent two years protesting his government.

Here's Trump's most homoerotic Jon Husted riff yet and other notable ones from his rally in North Carolina, including him trying to rename hurricanes as "watercanes" and offering a new bribe to military families:

Jfc what a white washed history. All of those were violent as fuck.

Sandy Hendry@sandyhendry.bsky.social

Martin Luther King was much more successful than Malcolm X for example. Before that, there was no need for a bloody civil war in most countries that abolished slavery. Just votes. Independence can also be bloodless. Gandhi in India, Walesa in Poland, Mandela in South Africa. The list is long.

Remember the satan panic of the 80’s and 90’s? The evangelicals pushed it. We should do the same thing but for Evangelicals being anti-Christ heretics. Hopefully knock down a mega church or two

Clyburn has always been sketchy since he was years ingrained into politics. He been a corporate hack for the establishment ever since

Jesse Eisinger@jeisinger.bsky.social

NEW: Lindsay Graham and Jim Clyburn were under FBI investigation for bribery. Then Trump dismantled the DOJ & FBI public corruption units. The investigation died. We unearthed it: www.propublica.org/article/nava...

That’s it. Throw anyone with a net worth over a billion into a volcano. Only way to solve this crap

China literally just executes those found guilty of corruption. Life in prison is not so bad for our criminal leaders

corruption and fraud above a certain amount should be treated as seriously as murder. because fraud kills. corruption kills. when a congressman pushes a bill to, say, build a highway because they personally will make $3 million selling land for that project, we should lock them up for life.

Yeaaaah, we’re just going to nationalize your entities. Then you rot in jail

Fine, we’ll take these old farts land then if they refuse to do contribute to society

Politico@politico.com

“I’m old. I’ve paid my home off,” said Ray Warner, a 72-year-old Akron resident. “Why would I pay property tax?” Across the country, homeowners are asking the same question and revolting against property taxes at a scale not seen in a half century.

Example infinity on why all the tech oligarchs need to be thrown into cages and forced to break rocks into smaller rocks for the rest of their natural lives. They are scum. They are murderers. They are a pariah

Eric Columbus@ericcolumbus.bsky.social

These are all one story

They need to be neutered asap. Wealth taxes aren’t just because of inequality, it’s to prevent insanely rich zealots from having outsized power as well

Will is obviously sheltered and only knows white folks. Screw the margins of society right? Break that down by race and you get a different picture, bud.

Will Stancil@whstancil.bsky.social

Most households are not living on 20-30k yearly, is the thing. That’s a very unusual circumstance. No one is claiming living in poverty is easy, just relatively unusual.

Naw, you don’t post anymore about politics bc you show time and time again that you’re a pos with selfish viewpoints. Duh. Wtb Liberals like these….who needs enemies?

Simple question Haberman….explain the process so we can decide if it should take months. Perhaps us peasants can maybe understand
