That's right. Gain power and crush fascists. Enough is enough.

In his acceptance speech, Lula says he will work to regulate digital platforms in Brazil. “Digital crimes must be dealt with like real-life crimes.” This comes after Meta directly interfered with the Brazilian elections, favouring Flávio Bolsonaro.

I did the math and this is the last month I have the money to pay my bills. I could use every bit of help I can get to survive November.

Darryl Mott@gamerstavernshow.com

On Christmas Day 2025, I fell in my kitchen baking cookies for Santa and broke my back, leaving me paralyzed. I'm currently in a long-term care facility with my benefits severely cut and could use financial help with bills and groceries. You can donate to my GoFundMe or see links in the reply.

Brian Fitzpatrick is running a deceptive campaign based on dubious blog posts from a man who claims "Every Democrat female is a sexual assault survivor, especially the morning after, when the guy hasn't fallen in love with her" and "Obama is a pure Muslim.” bit.ly/4hLzBTu

Sometimes we make the simple complicated. Meta's current business model depends on #surveillance; therefore, the incentive is for it to design products to further that surveillance, not to benefit you (much less your friends and family!). www.wired.com/story/muse-c...

Bucks County raised me. I grew up riding bikes on Roosevelt Street. My mom still lives at our childhood home. I'll never forget where I came from. But nearly a decade in Congress has changed Brian Fitzpatrick. Now it’s time to change Congress.

I’ve listened to it 3 times, and with each repetition, Cruce’s answers get worse. His responses to being asked about the corporate and PAC money he’s accepted are (paraphrasing): “my voters are too smart to think I’d vote based on who is funding my campaign…”

“No, we stole that term from you Black folk. And now it’s ours, because we use it. We use it to mean that the concerns and perspectives of you Black folk are annoying or wrong or dangerous, as a way of ignoring and dismissing those concerns and perspectives. Like I’m doing now—does that make sense?”

One of my favorite law school profs died of colon cancer at 52. Get your colonoscopy.

Ann Leckie@annleckie.com

My mom died of colon cancer. For pete's sake, (as she would have said) get your fucking regular colonoscopy. If you're lucky and your mom didn't die of colon cancer it's only once every ten years. It could save your life.

Well, I am of colonoscopy age now and I got my first-ever one yesterday. The prep wasn't fun but not as awful as I'd imagined. My appt was at 6am on Monday, I was home just after 7am. There's no recovery except catching up on the sleep you missed. So, if you need a nudge to get yours, this is it!
