River

oh wait you can pin posts so here's an about: heya, I'm River (xe/xem/xir + it/they). I'm an adult, and IRL I study animal science :] but I mostly post about the stuff I do in my free time. I like to draw and write fanfic. various things I like in replies!

Hi everyone, River here. I will be continuing to run this event as long as there's interest in it. I think it's more important than ever to maintain a strong fandom built on human-made work. Please sign the open letter and let's all keep creating together! openletter.earth/uchikoshi-fa...

🦇 an eye for an eye 🦇 T, 6k, #dccomics, helbabs 🦇 written for @dcfemslashbigbang.bsky.social , companion art will be linked in replies! 🦇 AO3: archiveofourown.org/works/94197331 🦇 CFAA: www.cfaarchive.org/works/1166

I also started P5R yesterday & I decided to call the protagonist John Persona. I'm sure this can only go well for me and definitely will not make serious scenes seem funny as a result /s

hello uchikoshi fans. a fellow fan/friend of mine has created an open letter to uchikoshi for other fans to sign in hopes of holding a concentrated space for us to voice our opposition to the prospect of gen AI being used by author we had held much respect for. openletter.earth/uchikoshi-fa...

in light of recent events

#hundred_line Just five more days remain to preorder! Don't miss out on getting your own copy!

maybe the ai bros have a point it is weird that only the video game industry has to disclose gen ai usage we should make the other industries do that too

Wonderful idea! Fellow women of colour, please do pitch too! I wanna hear our voices more <3

#hundred_line Preorders for Last Stand close one week from now, on October 31st! See quoted post for further details.

We’re recording in about seven hours, and we’re critically low on emails! Remember, you can send in questions about Kamaitachi no Yoru, weigh in on your favorite October games, or ask us about anything we’ve covered in the past! questions@scanlinemedia.com

been getting back into listening to classic music lately and I think as far as my personal preferences go chamber music > concertos > symphonies

so the warrior cats game came out, and I'd heard about genai used in development, so I wanted to look for a source for that, and as it turns out...the source comes from an AI site and was likely hallucinated. whoops

The NHS tortured a cancer patient to death through medical neglect because she was trans. I hope Trans Legal Clinic tears everyone involved to shreds and brings a suit against the Ministry of Health for this, because this cannot allowed to go unchallenged
