Truss, you & your insane IEA inspired financial "plan" fucked the finances of millions of ordinary Brits for years to come so as you clearly haven't got the grace to apologise, can you PLEASE just shut up, stop trying to defend the indefensible & FUCK RIGHT OFF? Thank you, a nation.

I don't normally read anything in this rag but some of the deranged BTL commenters still believing she would have saved Britain if it weren't for "the Blob", are worth it just for the lolz. Those posting this stuff are clearly as mad as her & probably really believe she would have got us to Mars.

Thanks to those of you who braved the elements to head out and see me in Aberdeen on Friday & Stirling last night. Your commitment to the cause of poetry is highly commendable. Next week, it’s Stamford, Bury St Edmunds, Corsham & the first of my Oxford shows. brianbilston.com/events/

A community arts centre, staging events and performances for ordinary people, in an ordinary Yorkshire town. Doesn't seem much to ask for, does it? My Bluesky friends, could you please repost Reece's message below, to bring this to as many people's attention as possible? Thanks 👍

The government didn’t just approve Jackdaw, they also reiterated their support for so-called tiebacks - a dodge to allow yet more new drilling without new licenses. This deserves almost as much scrutiny as Jackdaw and has got barely any of it, so I raised it in the Chamber.

Apparently Fernandes is blaming Man. U's back room team for their security tactics. "It's a decision from the staff not to put the burglar alarm on...but sometimes when you do not put on the alarm you give these robbers confidence."

Nowadays, the internet sometimes feels like a once well-to-do neighbourhood that became a slum after an industrial park & motorway were built through it. And I'm the lifelong resident who refuses to leave, unable to accept that the decaying, now unsafe area will never regain its former grandeur.

Seeing this story about the obnoxious Orr reminded me that Cambridge University is supposed to be investigating him isn't it? It doesn't seem that this is being pursued with quite the same zeal or scrutiny apparent in the high profile case involving another Cambridge academic in the recent past. 🤔

Oh dear, Natalie's got her work cut out to make her dear Trumpy Wumpy think everyone still loves him when hatred of the hateful, lying, grifting, sociopathic orange felon grows by the day even amongst his own fan base.

After weeks of hostilities since his arrival, our new, previously feral tux, Charlie, & our already resident, previously feral tux, Junior, appear to have agreed an entente cordiale. If Trump had had anything to do with this he really would have deserved a Nobel Peace Prize. 🤣

Putin continues his trolling of the hapless orange halfwit, who clearly doesn't understand that announcing ceasefires on behalf of other countries without involving them, doesn't mean there's going to be a ceasefire, or that you're going to win the Nobel Peace Prize. 🤣

I don't think anyone should be losing sleep over Badenoch & her shills in the right wing media; this living manifestation of the Dunning-Kruger effect will soon be consigned to the same bin as previous hapless Tory leaders like Duncan-Smith, Hague & Howard, grifting a living on the fringes.

theguardian.comKemi Badenoch is the most rightwing leader in Tory history. Isn’t it time she got some actual scrutiny? | Owen JonesFarage’s scandals have allowed Badenoch to get her party back in the race. But her programme would be no less ruinous for our country, says Guardian columnist Owen Jones
