recently I had my main man @timnuts.bsky.social walk me through vertex painting and now I'm experimenting with what I can do with it! Concept is supposed to be a slime, kind of like the bio devil from megaman, so I've been thinking of how to get that morph/transition look and I think works

So as it turns out, the textures are all just stored as .bmp files so I can take a good look at them pretty easily! It's an interesting style. They mostly seem to be pre-rendered with the lighting baked in but the details are fairly crisp.

Figured I'd follow the modular NPC's with some modular guns! The guns aren't as modular but the textures are you know how it is #blender #art #3d #lowpoly
