This is horrific. Residents of occupied Oleshky who wish to escape to free Ukraine will not be allowed to cross the Dnipro River – which is less than 4 km away. They will be taken to occupied Crimea or to the Russian Federation, where they will be subjected to coercive measures.

I'd like to remind Trump administration that after Iran war started, Ukraine deployed experts and technology to the Middle East to help Gulf states defend themselves against Iranian drones and protect US bases in the region, while Russia provided targeting information to Iran.

These aren’t even US gifts. Through NATO’s PURL, Europe pays for them. Washington just has to sign. 12 interceptors a month, per Zelensky, against barrages of hundreds of drones and missiles. Holding paid-for air defence while Kyiv’s grid burns isn’t neutrality. It’s leverage.

We in Europe know that if Putin wins in Ukraine there are other countries on his list - the Baltic countries, Poland etc. Ukraine is our buffer and with Trump backing out it's up to the rest of us to stand with them.

Scenes from St. Petersburg this morning.. Ukrainian drones struck multiple targets across St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region overnight. Hits include the oil terminal, a VK data center, power substations, the Korabelny Fairway bridge, the Ruchyi oil depot and an Ozon warehouse. #Russia

Not only Ukraine! He also denies any intelligence that russia helps Iran to launch attacks on US bases. He endangers US military. He is willing to sell out the US, middle Eastern allies, as well as Ukraine, to serve his own ends.

I doubt Starlink limitations will severely hamper Ukraine's mid-strike campaign as planners in Kyiv have not trusted the US for a while. From an EU/UK angle I'd worry more about how unreliable US leaders could tamper with basic intel and air defence systems Europe and Canada use

This volume is approximately equal to 16 hours of diesel consumption in the US. At the same time, America itself produces more fuel than it consumes and exports the surplus. It weakens the sanctions pressure on the Russian energy sector.

A big problem I frequently face right now is trying to explain to people that their walls of text they easily produced with Claude are redundant, confusing, irritating, and unnecessary. It doesn't even matter if they're also wrong, because nobody is going to read them. And yet they still keep coming

Canadian PM Mark Carney: I’ve met Putin in the past, multiple times. He only understands strength and directness. And the message would be simple: get out of Ukraine, give back all of Ukraine to Ukraine, end this war, which is killing more than 30,000 of your people every single month.

The authors emphasize: “Every fraction of a degree matters, and every year spent in overshoot increases climate risks and the potential for irreversible losses."
