Fifteen years after Citizens United opened the floodgates of corporate and dark political money, the Center for American Progress has figured out how to slam them back shut. CAP published its groundbreaking how-to report today: "The Corporate Power Reset That Makes Citizens United Irrelevant."

I just decided to look up if Charlie Kirk and I ever had any interaction so I Googled our names together. This is what the A. I. reported back. I didn’t post a critical comment. I haven’t used “lmaos” in my life. A. I. is heavy on the artificial & light on the intelligence. What’s up, Google?

Trump told the WSJ that it was impossible he wrote a 2003 birthday message to Epstein, which featured a bawdy line drawing of a woman, because "I never wrote a picture in my life." This is a lie In 2005, Trump drew picture of the NYC skyline for a charity auction. It was re-sold in 2017 for 30K

Let's talk about these two department store owners: brother and sister Louis Bamberger and Caroline Bamberger Fuld. From Newark, New Jersey. They are random people, basically. But in the late 1920s, with fascism taking over Europe, they made a choice that profoundly changed the world: 🧵

WOW. The Trump admin said they will review social media and deny immigration benefits to people saying antisemitic claims. They're even trying to deport people with green cards on alleged claims of antisemitism. Anyway, here's a tweet from an Afrikaner they flew here on Monday.

A reminder that if the government can send migrants to a prison camp without any due process, it can send U.S. citizens there, too. I know because this happened to me and my family in 1942.

I will never forget the photo of Zelenskyy’s face after he saw Russia’s war crimes in Bucha in 2022. He seemed to age years in an afternoon. Watching him constantly cross the world asking for aid that should have been thrown at him is one of the deepest shames of our age.

Zelenskyy went into that nest of vipers and roasted them all. Good. They all exposed themselves, they demeaned themselves in a way that was undeniable. Perfect.

This is literally true. School vouchers were pioneered as a way to help white supremacists send their kids to a new wave of private "segregation academies" created expressly for the purpose. From my book WHITE FLIGHT:

Max Kennerly@maxkennerly.bsky.social

School vouchers are a re-segregation tax, in which everyone is forced to pay the most racist white people so they can avoid sending their kids to schools with minorities. The only plus side is that the schools suck and don't help their kids get into better colleges. 🙏

So don’t give up hope. Do not despair. That is what they want, and we shall not give them that satisfaction. In Japanese, there is a word my mother used to say to me. “Gaman, Georgie,” she’d say. It means to endure with fortitude and dignity. We all could benefit the spirit of Gaman. /5
