It only took them 4 years and 8 months. A UN Commission of Inquiry says Russia’s systematic attacks on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure constitute war crimes and crimes against humanity, concluding they were intended to deprive civilians of essential services and cause suffering. #Ukraine

Voter participation by noon today in Israel was already at its highest level since 1973. This election is on track to have the highest voter participation in Israel's history. Not a great sign for Netanyahu. People don't typically vote at record levels when they're happy with how things are going.

The lessons from Brazil and Serbia? Don't concede one inch of ground to the far right. Don't appease. Don't triangulate. Don't grovel. Don't say they have "legitimate concerns". Mobilise your base, and fight them with all the democratic means at your disposal.

CBS deleted this post and reposted it admitting that their original one was misleading. And the misleading post from CBS was intentionally misleading, not an innocent mistake. CBS continues to lose credibility.

I know there's a lot going on but I feel it should probably be more of an above-the-fold story that members of Congress released a thoroughly documented report directly accusing the president of the United States of being a serial rapist.

At least 18 early voting centers in rural Alaska have not opened as of Friday, state Sen. Bill Wielechowski says. The commonality? All the affected areas have at least a 60% Alaska Native population — with nearly a dozen having Alaska Native populations upwards of 90%: https://demdock.com/4yTW5Ze

Across the 8th district, Hoosiers care about the health of their communities and families. Indiana has more coal ash pits than any other state and the majority of them are in the 8th District. Pollution from coal ash can lead to kidney and liver damage, cardiac issues, and a variety of cancers.

I know that everyone is focused on Trump's attacks in California and Alaska. My team is fighting in court in both places. But understand the fight for free and fair elections is much broader. Elias Law Group is currently litigating 92 voting and election cases in 42 states plus DC.

The dumbest takes are MAGA trying to claim Obama’s line about Trump making the WH look like a Cheesecake Factory is somehow elitist because CF fans will be offended that someone doesn’t want the WH to look like a chain restaurant. Even their culture war BS is lame this cycle.

this is total gobbledygook? the process to decide who should be certified as the winner is the election, and there is no federal law that says the courts get to decide who that is.

Blanche on CBS says his suit against Alaska is "asking the court to step in where the Alaska Supreme Court didn't, which is to look at federal law and if necessary to allow a process for Alaska to decide who should be certified as the winner." (So, the voters won't get to decide. Got it.)
