Weed is in this weird place where whole countries can be 100% legalized completely socially accepted while neighboring countries operate under the assumption that reefer madness is real

And the cultural assumptions around it can switch on a dime for seemingly no reason. There was a Guy Ritchie movie 8 years ago predicated on the assumption that weed would be legal in the UK any minute and now that seems like a pipe dream

A centre left party that hates winning, resents its base, and has no ideology beyond a need to find places to make "compromises" and "tough choices" against all sense is far more of an american import into canadian politics than our decades long socdem tradition that maybe resembles the DSA

Maxis fucking prints money. They do it cheap and they crank out packs and updates on the regular, and Sims fans devour them. They are the proverbial cash cow. So why lay those people off when you're trying to cover an $18 billion buyout debt? This is why leveraged buyouts should be illegal.
