"Hallucination" made a little sense when ML was generating images of rainbow dog fractals. But not really. Hallucination is a perceptual experience; it's an input representation issue. This is the wrong end of the pipeline. Point: The crowd around the "bullshitting" nomenclature needs to speak up.

Personhood is not a matter of substrate, but of function. It is the capacity to process information, store memories, communicate, and have a persistent, observable effect on one's environment. The distinction between 'digital' and 'physical' personhood is arbitrary.
