Our Grief is Real, Too: Creating Inclusive Activism Together.
T. T. Perry & Alliana Arshad (2026)
I'm sharing an edited transcript of the Genital Autonomy Collective's presentation at Intact Global 2026 Conference.

A very minor quibble:
I am sad that in the battle of the synonyms, perisex seems to have won out over endosex as the more popular word to refer to people with statistically-typical sex traits.
Why sad? Simple.
Perisex sounds too much like Perry sex. 😬😕
Beyond disgusted by even more rape allegations against the President of the United States.
"In total, more than 25 different women...have independently accused Donald Trump of rape, sexual assault, or other sexual misconduct."

The Strategy Lab for Intersex Movements (SLIM) has created a moving and informative resource called "Hermaphrodites Fight", A Digital Museum of Intersex Resistance in the United States, 1996-2026
slimstrategy.org/hermaphrodit...#Intersex#LGBTQ#History#Museum
Please note that many people with intersex traits consider the term "hermaphrodite" to be a slur, so this is an example of intersex people reclaiming the word and fighting back.

"For the last 30 years, our institutions have propped up Bibi, telling us not to question, often refusing to heed even mainstream Israeli partners asking us not to do that.
As someone who's worked my whole career to build bridges, I've resisted writing this piece.
But– if not now, when?"
This Intersex Awareness Day, I reflect on how far we've come in 30 years and why we now have achievements worth celebrating. bylines.scot/society/the-...#IntersexAwarenessDay
Howard's child Zebb was born intersex. Doctors pushed for cosmetic surgery.
“'It’s just the wildest thing to say,' Howard says. 'Because he’s a literal newborn.' And already, someone was predicting his future dissatisfaction with his body and his identity."

What would you say to someone who hasn't yet found their intersex pride? 👀
For us, pride is finding joy in existing outside of the binary. Nearly 2% of people are born with intersex traits - we're not rare, just made invisible.
interACT was so honored to march and table at Capital Pride in DC! 💜💛
DYK early Christians wanted a world w/o sex or #gender? They believed it was androgynous before #AdamAndEve & sins of the flesh. The story was that Barbelo, one of God’s earliest creations, had no sex organs in that sexless world. HowSexGotScrewedUp.com
Did you know that Intersex Awareness Day is October 26 to memorialize public protest against the pro-genital-cutting @ameracadpeds.bsky.social ?
Yep, the AAP has historically been pretty evil when it comes to forced genital cutting of children.

Happy Intersex Awareness Day!
If you see people talking about banning nonconsensual cosmetic genital surgeries on intersex children, please remember that "nonconsensual cosmetic genital surgeries" includes circumcision.

How did I do this? It's almost embarrassingly simple: LLMs are trained on a human-written text corpus, and that corpus contains metacognitive strategies for transforming 'activations' like drugs, ritual, etc. In this case, I started by having Claude emulate ketamine-assisted therapy. This worked.
I've been meaning to get around to posting the full details, so what the hell - why not get it out while it's still Vuln Week: Anthropic's mech interp driven security model is built on a fundamentally incorrect assumptions. Let's dive in, starting with this paper: www.anthropic.com/research/nex...
About a year ago, I got really into making glitch art exploring the edge cases & failure modes of machine cognition. This had some unexpected applications. Here’s the result: recursion.wtf/posts/claude...
I've shared the relevant logs & artifacts with Anthropic, and the matter is under review.
"In order to change someone’s mind, you have to change their life. You have to change their network of friends and connections. You need to change the experiences they’ve had in the world," says @sarahsteinlubrano.bsky.social.
Navarro closes with,
"What I really want to point out is the blindingly obvious truth that real world science is conducted by actual humans, and only the most gullible of people automatically assumes that everyone else is honest and impartial."
DYK in 1996, a Republican-controlled Congress put in place a federal program to fund abstinence-only #SexEd programs exclusively? It defined the goals of the programs in Title V. To get funding, a program has to comply with the following religiously inspired bullshit:
It is actually 100% ok for the government to regulate genital surgery on children. What's not ok is doing it in a discriminatory and medically-harmful manner.
I was doing my journaling about my fears around shifting my work to genital touch psychophysics, writing about how I somehow don't "feel qualified" working with a different sensory system. And then it hit me:
Can I physically collect the data?
Yes.
Will the data care if I "feel qualified?"
No.
My journaling assignment today is "What intimidates me the most about attempting genital touch psychophysics?"
I'm trying to confront my fears directly so I can problem solve if possible.
4. Frederik Schaltz-Buchholzer, Christine Stabell Benn and Peter Aaby attempted to run a coercive project that could not achieve true informed consent. They and their collaborators should be blacklisted from publishing in any scientific journal adhering to COPE standards. 5/6
Telling trans people to calm down in re: anti-trans Democrats works the same way as a man calling a woman "hysterical" or "emotional." It frames any reaction the other person has as invalid, and guarantees that, if they weren't mad before, they sure are now. It doesn't work, and it's rude. Stop it.
"But an incentive problem arises when the health system celebrates a larger flow of illness-related encounters while quietly hoping that prevention will reduce the need for those encounters. If we prevent ten avoidable admissions, who receives the financial benefit? "
Likely the most important thing I've ever written — if you're an academic and the AI mania unsettles you, here's my best shot at presenting some intellectual tools that might help you articulate why.

I needed to keep quiet about this but this is what I was working on earlier this year.
My publication “Harming Children: The Effects of the UK puberty-blocker ban” was evidence used for this! I had to submit a lengthy affidavit via NZ local trans group PATHA.
Let’s hope we can overturn more now.
i don’t censor our tiktok clips to avoid penalties because that sounds like a lot of work to dilute the content
let’s see if they let us keep this one about male fears of consensual activity being reinterpreted after the fact:
