OK, I'll bite. Had to cull a *lot* of JRPGs and stuff from the pre PC/console 80s.

I have a masters degree in chemical engineering and you know what? We studied some history, because horrific accidents like to repeat themselves and people don't change.

Spent this morning doing my quarterly VAT return. *Days* before it's due. Feeling somewhat smug. Went to file it and HMRC is down all day for planned maintenance.

For a few days the scroll wheel on my trackball has been playing up. 6 T6 Torx screws to get into it. Nothing I had could reach 2 of them so I had to wait for an appropriate tool to turn arrive. Tonight I got to investigate. Reader, it was full of ginger fur. Scoville has a lot to answer for.

Walking home from the late care visit at my mother's and some asshat in an Audi went past me a some significant speed (in a 30 zone) and about a minute later back the other way even faster. Turns out that Audi's currently untaxed, so I reported it. That should make their day in a few weeks.
