Neo Géo 💫

there's smth very special abt pepé being drawn with half-lidded eyes and given eyeshadow to accentuate them... like Chuck Jones said "hooded eyes" is the $10 trick to drawing a character with a sexy look

my LT clothes arrived today... 🥺 the embroidery is soooo nice on these

Eric Bauza was a generational talent. Modern Looney Tunes really only found its footing with someone like that breathing fresh life into every one of those characters, and it's rare you see someone so clearly relish their work at every stage. Rest in peace. Thank you for what you did for toons. 💚

Eric Bauza has passed away.

v1.136 is live! Introducing: Profile links We want independent writers, artists, developers, and creators to be able to build and fund sustainable projects on Bluesky. Help your followers know how to support you by adding buttons for Patreon, Ko-fi, your newsletter or website, and more.

If you self-host and run PHP on it (which is very likely) you NEED to update it later today, ASAP. A major vulnerability that affects PHP versions since 5 has been found, which allows remote code execution (very bad). You MUST retweet and share with friends who self-host. THIS IS CRITICAL. ⚠️

I regret to announce that Pillowfort will be closing on Dec. 4th. You can read more on Pillowfort: www.pillowfort.social/posts/8413273

wasn't expecting to receive an email abt pillowfort shutting down, wow... although I didn't use the platform much I know there'd been a community of ppl posting their art and especially NSFW works after tumblr no longer allowed it 😔 there goes another website ig

watching this movie again w/ my gf (2nd time for her) and I genuinely just love how this encompassed classic movies and classic horror together... cary grant, peter lorre... two old ladies murdering ppl bcuz the men were lonely and suffering... what an interesting movie w/ so many moving parts 🤭

after spending 2 hours watching the 17 pepé le pew shorts I have reached enlightenment

the cats bah has a really interesting opening sequence where pepé pours two glasses of champagne, slips into "something more comfortable" and offers you, the viewer, to sit with him to have a drink and smoke while you interview him, all while calling you darling and chérie btw... what a charmer ❤️

ahh, all the pepé shorts (and shorts until ~1965) are so easily accessible 🙏 time to skunk-post... ❤️

his peets... 🥺

omigosh TLTS refs 😍

I've got boxes full of Pepe

Going thru the Cartoon Network leaks and saving all this top grade art reference material

this has to be the best look at Marisol Mallard, there's a glimpse that she would've had a similar personality to what would eventually become Tina Russo She never was a seperate character, which I found interesting

I don't know a single thing any more

>lrp sometimes I look at the few volumes of the Don Rosa library I have and wonder if it's even worth trying to buy the volumes I'm missing bcuz I know I'll be paying almost $100 a volume now... 😭 thankfully I'm seeing some anticipated reprint dates for a few volumes on fantagraphics' website 🙏

Almost every hobby or passtime I've had my entire life - comic books, action figures, trading cards, personal computers, even *the movies* - has been consumed by a bunch of gambling addicts desperate for some new speculative market and we should make gambling illegal because it's their fucking turn

Front site will be down ~30-60 minutes while we migrate to a new filesystem backend (finishing up the upgrades from last week). This is the beginning of support for site snapshots, so eventually it will be a new feature. Thanks for your patience!

they're here! yippee!

Eric Bauza posted the first photo of his first day at Paramount-Warner Bros. merged company, Skydance. He recorded something at Warner Bros. Animation today. Remember, Looney Tunes and WB will always survive no matter what especially if Skydance fails. Source: www.instagram.com/p/DeNe5_lAbE_/

I love cartoons

the day the earth blew up is sooooooooooo good omigosh 😭

Pete Browngardt, creator of ‘Uncle Grandpa’ and ‘Looney Tunes Cartoons’, reposts the infamous image of Uncle Grandpa sticking a gun in his mouth following the news of the closing of Skydance Corporation.

I definitely wanna talk more abt comics and cartoons in the future since ppl seem to find it interesting but I wouldn't even know where to really start other than posting random things I find interesting myself while paroozing online and in comic book shops, hmm... 🤔

forever in love w/ the way Chuck Jones draws eyes, giving the characters little eyelashes ❤️

Front site is going to be offline tonight starting at 10PM EDT for maintenance and performance upgrades. Shouldn't be more than a few hours. Thanks for your patience.
