As a brat myself, there's a huge difference between brattily poking fun at a typo with someone I'm in a negotiated dynamic with and being an elitist asshole to strangers who haven't consented to brat play with me.

It also came with the added bonus of their using adherence to grammar and spelling rules to act like they have a superior intellect. As if English grammar rules have no history of being used for oppression, multilingual people don't exist, & humans should be robots who always proofread perfectly.

Bed is now at the new apartment we're moving to, so we need to sleep here. Partner leaves to get what we need but forgot during the first trip. I listen to an audiobook while unpacking essentials. Partner comes home and tracks something mysterious & foul smelling into the entry.

I have a really bad feeling that releasing the Epstein files will roll off Trump like water, but releasing them could at least force others to be brought to justice. Every one of those monsters needs to be brought to justice.

Discord partnered with a Generative AI service called DomoAI, and they now have hidden users in everyone's servers to scrape all of your art, writing, images, etc. Banning them doesn't seem to really help. I canceled my Discord subscription.

Users, including me, didn't like the first time they tried to implement GenAI into their service, so they took it back. Now they're at it again, and there's no way to properly stop it or opt out. This is genuinely fucked up, and I'm so ready for AI to implode on itself. I'm tired of this.

As much as folks are interpreting the new choke scene in LaDS as kink, I really don't think Sylus liked that MC did that. He already says in Destiny Cafe that he doesn't like being choked, and he looked incredibly unhappy during that. I think his signature smirk was just a mask-recovery.

I think he was trying to put his control back in place quickly, to not freak MC out further, all to better convince her he can be trusted. He doesn't lie to her. If he liked it, when we poke his neck in the Cafe, he'd say some innuendo about it instead of directly stating that he doesn't like it.

I have two things to say about the judge being arrested by the FBI. 1. Obstructing immigration is illegal but also morally correct. 2. I don’t believe a word the FBI or ICE says. They are lying. The judge is innocent.

This is an obvious point, but cannot overstated. There is an enormous difference between deporting someone - where they get off a plane as a free citizen in their home country AND FUNNELING THEM INTO A BRUTAL PRISON FROM WHICH THEY HAVE NO CHANCE OF EVER EMERGING!!!
