The people organized and came out to defeat the far right in Brazil. This election is an incredible example of how grassroots democratic action can beat the oligarchs, the tech bros and the far right. I love the Swifties for Lula youth contingent.

Brazilians understood what the Meta algorithm was doing to democracy and Lula called it out, and students called each other away from their online timelines, and Brazil 🇧🇷 beat technofascism. There is a lesson in there for Canada 🇨🇦.
