I am an open book in a room very few can enter. The SSA declared my very much alive 87-yr-old mom dead last year. Her story: https://ktla.com/news/local-news/california-family-struggling-with-the-death-of-mother-who-is-very-much-alive/amp/

Watching an episode of Star Trek: The Original Series. In this episode, the Enterprise takes on board someone who isn’t who they seem. This person then tries to take over the ship. Guess which episode I’m watching.

Jeff Bezos, one of the wealthiest men in the world, only pays himself $80,000 in wage income. That means he pays less into Social Security than someone making $184,500. The Social Security Expansion Act would fix that.

After teaming up with Elon Musk to push out 7,000+ dedicated staffers, erroneously declaring living Americans dead, and installing a part-time commissioner, Trump’s next step is to unleash a dystopian military surveillance system inside the Social Security Administration.

I’m going through my phone and updating passwords that were exposed by a massive data breach. I’m wondering if I can sue the IRS for $1.8 billion since the rule of law doesn’t fucking matter anymore.

Cool. I can’t wait to relive the experience of being 10 and walking out of a theater unsettled by the sudden awareness that nothing is permanent, while subconsciously projecting the realization onto a cartoon robot that parents won’t always be there. www.hollywoodreporter.com/movies/movie...

I have an account with the Fox News website, so I get emails from them. One I get often is titled: The Fox News IQ Challenge. Shouldn’t the Fox News IQ Challenge just be that Montreal dementia and brain injury test that Trump constantly brags about passing?

A very wise person once said, ‘As long as the roots are not severed, all is well. And all will be well in the garden. Growth has it seasons. First comes spring & summer, but then we have fall & winter. Then we get spring & summer again.’ We are very upset about the season of our economy right now.

When I hear about cuts to Medicaid, I know exactly what that means for families here in #NY17. Fewer services, overwhelmed providers, and people going without the care they need. But despite what families like mine are going through, Rep. Mike Lawler voted to cut Medicaid. - Karen Rubinson

I’m learning colored pencils right now. Here is my finished project. There are proportion issues which I didn’t take seriously when I mapped it out at the start. Extra points to anyone who actually looks at my post for starters, but then if you can actually guess the video game this is from.

Can’t wait to see what the bill of this war is going to be. I wonder how much it’ll offset the savings from eliminating USAID’s 21bill budget that fed millions of children and provided HIV treatment to 500,000 children around the world in 2024 alone.

I just spent a few seconds listening to a Middle East expert talk about lawn chairs before realizing what she was actually saying. I was like ‘Why would Iran want to target our lawn chairs?’ I wonder if it’s a common mistake. Maybe we should start calling lawn chairs something else just to be safe.

Rich people? Over here! No, to the left of your yacht if you are facing the pointy part! Yes, hi, it's me, floating in the water. I just wanted to say, you can live a life of plenty AND pay your share, AND not be a total ass.

After listening to a generation of Right-wingers bragging about how they're itching to stand up against a tyrannical government, it's ironic that the Democrats and Independents were the ones that actually did it.
