At some point, BC media needs to contend with the airtime they give to Angelo Isidorou & their role in completely laundering his image. Isidorou has never walked back his white nationalist bs or his decision to, for example, platform neo-Nazis through the UBC Free Speech Club.

This came up again. You can't support renters & then allow more short-term vacation rentals. Per a recent study from UBC: one STR unit bumps up the price of long-term rentals in the neighbourhood by $49/month. I'm proud to be the only DNV council candidate standing firm for renters.

Everyone is calling for accountability in this election. Where is the accountability to renters? $49x12 = an extra $588 per year. We agree that it's unacceptable to drop a $590 utility increase on homeowners via the NSWWTP but it's okay to drop a similar amount on renters?

Anti-trans activists are upset that B.C. Conservative leader Lorne Doerksen didn't spent debate time last night pledging anti-trans policies. Supporters in the replies: "You can’t say that stuff in Canada. The media will destroy the conservatives. They have to win and then do it."

Municipal candidate here. I was initially furious about the overlap. What I found is that people in real life understand the differences. Our candidate forums have been standing-room only. The history of opportunism in the BC Cons makes this promise so beyond vapid.

So egregiously backwards & short-sighted. Every person in this province subsidizes cars. Your municipal taxes pay for parking & roads whether you have a car or not. Your provincial taxes pay the health care costs from car-related pollution & crashes. Your federal taxes subsidize O&G companies.

There are extremely important projects in Translink's 10-year plan, including a RapidBus line in North Vancouver that will connect Lynn Valley to fast & frequent networks across the inlet & increased off-peak Seabus service. We need assurances that these improvements will still happen on time.
